TODAY'S TIP: Want to apply a filter in Google Mail and use boolean expressions, such as wanting to apply it to emails from firstname.lastname@example.org OR email@example.com? You can, you just have to be careful of the parenthesis. By default, Google will start and end the expressions with ( and ). So the above expression should be entered as: firstname.lastname@example.org) OR (email@example.com in the From field of the filter. If you had one more address in the middle of the expression, you would put parenthesis around all of it (firstname.lastname@example.org). Also, NOTs are specified with minus signs, and spaces are used for ANDs.
