Ken Levinson and I met many years ago, working for a week together with a jury consultant on a case for a friend. The case involved child brain injury, and I remember being amazed at the extent of Ken’s knowledge and experience on the subject. Since this time, we've become friends, and I've had the pleasure of getting to know Ken much better on a professional and personal level. I have the greatest respect for Ken, and in fact he’s speaking at a major national legal seminar I’m putting on in just a few weeks teaching lawyers more on child injury law and how lawyers can better protect injured children. Ken and I often bounce ideas off each other, and I get a unique perspective from Ken on how brain injury affects children differently, and how this can apply to auto accident cases where I devote the bulk of my own legal practice. Ken has extensive experience and knowledge protecting children, and is nationally known for his teaching in trial advocacy, including at the Trial Lawyers College and working with lawyers nationally on focus groups. I've hired him to help me with several focus groups, and he is excellent. I have also watched him with clients, including people I have referred to him in the past. His warm and caring demeanor is even more notable because it is so lacking among the legal profession. Ken is one of the kindest, most genuine attorneys I know. I never hesitate to refer Ken cases, because I know he treats his clients as he would his own family - and he will do everything in his power to get them the best results possible. He truly cares, and it shows in everything he does. These are just a few reasons Ken has been able to lead Levinson and Stefani to become the top firm nationally helping victims of child injury, and why he’s considered one of the top personal injury attorneys today in Chicago.

As an attorney, I’ve had the pleasure of working on many serious truck accident cases with attorneys from across the nation. But Michael Leizerman is special. He is considered one of the best truck attorneys in the country. I’ve been very fortunate to be able to learn from him and work with him on many cases together. I have always been impressed by his love of learning. He teaches advanced advocacy concepts to lawyers, and his three volume treatise on "Litigating Truck Accident Cases" is the seminal work in commercial motor vehicle litigation that every serious attorney has on his desk. Michael is also unusual because he truly cares about the people he chooses to help, and he genuinely cares. His knowledge and compassion continue to impress me. In short, he is a fantastic lawyer.

I’ve known and worked with Ken for several years and now he’s become a close friend. Ken is trustworthy, compassionate and a strong advocate for his clients. He also specializes in children who are injured due to others negligence. Ken is one of only a small handful of attorneys in the in the U.S. who I trust to work with as a trial consultant on my own cases, and he is a brilliant lawyer. He is also one of only a small handful of attorneys in the entire U.S. who focuses on child injury cases. Ken is warm and friendly, but he’s also fantastic in the courtroom and incredibly tenacious when he works on settlements for his clients. I have called on Ken many times because I know he can best help. When I have a major trial coming, I often work with Ken on themes, strategy, and even with psychodrama preparation for my key witnesses or my clients. In short, it is very rare to have a lawyer like Ken who is not only at the very top of specialty and who has tremendous technical expertise, but who is also just a wonderful human being. Someone who is truly in need of top-notch help would count themselves very fortunate to have Ken as his or her lawyer.
