We sat outside on a sunny day with some coffee and a cake. For both it was just under £7 which some might find expensive but the cake is really worth it. They usually have unusual flavours and they're done really, really well. It can be busy so expect to queue for a while but if the weather is nice there's not a better place to sit and admire the beautiful view of the park.

Good but frustrating. What I really want is the luxury option of my tea in a china cup and my choice of food on a sunny afternoon in the park. But to get this class of service, you have to commit to a set menu and that includes things I don't want such as a scone. And if they are out of scones then they will not serve you at all. What's so hard about a-la-carte? Just have a minimum charge to stop people nursing a cup of coffee.

Great setting in the middle of St James Park in the middle of the plants and overlooks the pond. Located just off The Mall, Inn The Park is the perfect place to either refuel, meeting place in serene surroundings. Great tea!

Come early and enjoy views of the park over a cup of tea. What could be more English? I'll tell you what.. a fry up in a greasy spoon cafe somewhere outside the M25.

A really nice spot, and if you're wanting it for the view then its perfect. I expected a little more from the tea than a teabag dunked in some boiled water, but it was very nice tea, and the cakes were very nice. Its a little pricey, but overall, I'd suggest going there.

The restaurant is perfect for meeting with friends or even having a business appointment. The view provides a perfect, calm eating atmosphere. The service is one of the best around with polite staff and big menu.
