We were shown around yesterday and I just had to give you the feedback you so richly deserve.. I have never seen somewhere that was so aesthetically pleasing with such charm and sophistication, that I was totally blown away like that.. Suffice to say that we have indeed booked our daughter Hannah and her Fiance Tommy's wedding at Gaynes Park for June 2018. And we cannot wait!!.. I am so looking forward to a celebration in a magnificent venue and know I can relax in the hands of people who are all about attention to detail.. Thank you :)

Thank you so much. Your comments are so hugely appreciated. We love choosing beautiful things and plants that we would want in our own home and gardens. We think and hope our couples will like our style choices, but it is wonderful to hear you have. We are so thrilled with your comments - thank you again. We look forward to hosting Hannah and Tommy's wedding in 2018. The crazy thing is 2018 will be here in no time! Many thanks again for your encouraging words.

Where do I begin...?! The folks at Gaynes Park know how much myself and my new husband Steve adore the place and them there! When we first got engaged 15 months ago and were looking for venues, Gaynes was the second place we visited with my family as well and we hadn't even got half way through our visit and we knew it was 'the one'! Myself and my mum seriously want to move into the beautiful Coach House (they think we are joking)! I honestly couldn't fault Gaynes Park at all. The venue, the location, the decor, the attention to detail, the AMAZING staff (especially a MASSIVE THANK YOU to the lovely Hannah who looked after our wedding throughout the whole process and who will always be known as my guardian angel)! I highly recommend Gaynes Park and our wedding was only two weeks ago yesterday...we want to do it all over again! It was by far the most wonderful of days and the best day of our lives! A lot of that was thanks to this beautiful venue and people. Big love to you all xxx

Thank you so much Claire. We loved you and your wedding. I am sad it is over, but know we will keep in contact with each other and now you are part of Gaynes Park's history too xxx

Looking forward to returning to Gaynes Park in November to deliver yet another wedding cake created by Jemz Cake Box. My first visit there was a few years ago delivering a music themed cake. This year it will be a triathlon themed cake. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Awesome experience.

The owner and some staff are incredible rude and spoilt our day. Be careful with this venue. Over priced too for what's out there.

Dear David Many thanks for your feedback. What happened, as it would be good if there was not a repeat of what seemed to offend you? I asked my husband if he had any recall of this encounter that you mention, but he didn't know what it could be...? I am the other owner and I am not there all the time and also don't recall meeting you or having any poor experience with a guest. We love our wedding couples and meeting people! So, it would help us if you could explain further what we as the owners may have done wrong and who these are other staff/jobs were and what they did that offended you. We are genuinely sorry if for any reason your day was spoilt last year. We invest a lot to make our venue beautiful and are proud of what we offer and all the positive feedback that we get. Likewise, the catering and events team are very well regarded as well. Please do help us understand what went so wrong for you.

Gaynes Park is a fantastic venue and one of the best we've played in. The buildings are stunning, the surroundings are idyllic and the staff are extremely helpful and personable. We've played for countless bride and grooms at Gaynes Park and it's always been a memorable day and rocking evening!

Great venue in nice quiet countryside. Beautiful gardens and selection of old lovingly restored buildings. Went to a family wedding here. Staff very good, attentive and friendly. Plenty of space in the different areas and buildings to spread out and socialise and let the kids blow off steam. Stayed the night here too. Lovely rooms

Dear Paul Thank you so much for your lovely review and we are delighted you enjoyed your time at Gaynes Park in the wedding venue and at the Coach House accommodation.

My cousin got married here and the venue itself was gorgeous, the problem I had was I travelled up from Dorset and the staff made no effort to make us feel welcome in the hours we had to wait before the wedding started. Even though all the rooms were booked by friends and family of the bride and groom some snooty woman refused to let us into one of the rooms to get changed into our smart clothes. Eventually after my uncle complained we managed to get a free pot of coffee and somewhere to sit down and get changed. Not very happy and certainly won't recommend to anyone

Dear Karl Many thanks for your feedback, we are delighted you thought Gaynes Park wedding venue and its barns were gorgeous. We take any complaints about anything to do with the wedding venue or the completely separate Coach House accommodation company very seriously and we looked into your complaint. It seems your problem was specifically with the accommodation that you were not listed to stay in by the bride. We checked the room allocations details for any record of you and discussed with the Accommodation Managers what had taken place. Whilst we genuinely sympathise with your frustration, unfortunately you were not a registered guest for the Coach House accommodation and we clearly state to our wedding couples that only registered guests are permitted into the Coach House. I see why you may have been confused by this, as the proximity of the Coach House, although through a special gate signed for registered guests of the Coach House, is nonetheless within the estate of Gaynes Park and not far away from the wedding venue barns. Check in for the Coach House as with most hotels is from 2pm for registered guests. Currently where requested, the Managers there aim to complete housekeeping for a couple of bedrooms to be available from after 12.30pm. However, the bride specifically requested a 2-3.30pm check in for ALL her registered guests on the room allocations that we received from her. Tea and coffee facilities are available in each of the 10 bedrooms for registered guests staying at the Coach House. When wedding guests arrive to the wedding venue early before the wedding ceremony, we are more than happy for them to wander around its pretty Walled Gardens, to wait in the Orangery or sit under the Gather Barn and use the lovely designer and large less abled loos. The caterers also leave out water as a refreshment for guest to help themselves to. Obviously after the ceremony there is a wonderful drinks reception and then a sit down wedding breakfast meal. Perhaps we need to look into providing a drinks package option and staffing for wedding guests to pre-book/order/buy tea and coffee. Alternatively to maybe provide a list of lovely local cafes or restaurants in local Epping for guests who travel from afar and who do arrive at the location very early to stop and visit. We are very proud of our wonderful reputation and all the thousands of positive comments we get from our many couples and their wedding guests who are married at, or a guest to a wedding at Gaynes Park and who are also booked to stay in the Coach House or Apple Loft accommodation. Many thanks once again for your feedback, whilst disappointed by your dissatisfaction when you went to use the Coach House, we are nonetheless delighted you found the wedding venue gorgeous, as we spend a great deal of time making both companies as beautiful and lovely as possible.

I like the grounds at Gaynes Park, the perimeter has the most beautiful flowers. My steel drum band covered a wedding reception there last year and it was very nice.
