Was a great deal of fun. Had the 4 course meal, included cheese fondue, a salad, various meats to cook in a fondue pot, and a chocolate fondue. Had a great server, and enjoyed it very much.

The food is amazing. The cheese is amazing. Cooking the meat part can be tricky but it is fun. The chocolate dip is my favorite part. The food is very fresh. I give it a four because the place was empty and it took very long for the waiter to change the courses. I thought the transitions should have been quick if it was empty. But overall a great place to go with friends.

Great restaurant. Hot plates in center of the tables keep the food warm. Take your time eating. Bar & live entertainment. Tell the manager that Hussein sent you.

I've usually just gone to the suburbs for this because the friends I've gone with live there. I will make this recommendation, either pay for valet, take public transporation, or don't go on a weekend night. It took me almost 30 min. to find parking, and the traffic was ridiculous. Once inside though, the wait wasn't too long, but we also had reservations. The food was delicious, and all the ingredients nice and fresh. The only issue I really had was since it was later on a Saturday evening, they'd run out of marshmallows for the dessert! We contemplated going over to Walgreens to pick up some, but ended up just using more strawberries and cake. It you don't mind cooking your own food, the experience is a lot of fun, and the waitstaff checked up on us often without being annoying.

We went here for our anniversary with a livingsocial coupon. It was a very disappointing experience on a variety of levels. The first course of cheese fondue was decent tasting but it was a pretty meager portion for 2 people. The main course was where the real disappointment started. The meat was probably good quality but it was hard to tell with the broth that I very seriously think was just bullion cubes and boiling water. If you could make a list of the least appetizing ways to cook meat, somewhere near the bottom would be boiling in bullion water. It felt like a small crime dumping filet mignon into that water. after the food is all boiled the flavor is supposed to come from the dipping sauces that they provide with the meal. This would be okay if any of the sauces actually had flavor. It was a pretty lackluster meal overall. In conclusion, if your idea of a great night out is paying $100 to boil tasteless expensive meat and dip them in bland sauces, Melting Pot is the place for you!!!

It's all about the Sunday night bartender here. That guy is a riot. He makes a great "specialty" drink called the yin yang martini. Woooo that thing got me absolutely tipsy...but it was sooo tasty. If you go in make sure to ask for the yin yang...phenomenal. The dessert fondue was great too. Pop in for a snack or a whole fondue meal, just don't forget the yin yang from that special Sunday bartender.

I'm not a HUGE fan of fondue (I'd rather just get a good meal cooked, most of the time, that cook it myself at the table), but on rare occasions it makes for a fun, relaxing night with the wife. I first came across Melting Pot while on vacation in Colorado, but I've since also visited the one in Chicago. Sometimes we get a full meal, sometimes just dessert, but it's always been a decent, enjoyable experience, and I have no complaints, other than some nights it attracts teens and children and can be annoyingly loud. Still, it's a place to kick back and have some fun, and I particular enjoy the cheese options and chocolate desserts.

The Melting Pot is a great place to go when you you're looking for something that is not your typical dinner out. They have appetizers main courses and desserts that are all very delicious. Their cheese and chocolate are my personal favorites. Very good place.
