Hey guys, reading some forums it seems that most problems people keep having are with the last part of HW3. How did you do?

10 years programing xp, minimal javascript exposer, pass first attempt,

Tbh this was easy, but then again I have been playing with node for at least 1 hour a day sins course started.

If I leared one thing about online courses in the past then it is that you have to go beyond what they show you and studdy topics in detail on your own.

The 2 tutorials I learned the most from:
node js tutorial lesson 01
express js tutorial part 01 intro

Good backround noise when doing mind numming stuff, enjoy ;)

Just read "Buying Behavior as a Function of Parametric Variation of Number of Choices" and was left wondering about what makes 10 choices of pens optimal. Does anyone have any info on the subject?

Hey guys,

I wanto to ski the Dolomites in 2014. I've only done North American resorts and can imagine Europe is a completely different experience. Anybody have tips on how to make the transition as pleasant as possible?

I've not been to N America, but have been to several resorts in the Italian Alps - if you've not picked a resort yet then here are some I've been to and thoughts...

Italian resorts tend to be well pisted - but they're defined pistes. From what people I know have said, you can just kinda ski anywhere in N America.

Aprica - small and friendly but not much variety and very little off-piste if that's what you're after

Chiesa - really nice little resort with some amazing scenery, some challenging runs just not very many

Bormio - the Winter Olympics was here a few years ago and they hold regular downhill meetings, so if you want to have a go at the same runs they're open to everyone (but some sections aren't for the faint hearted) only downside is it's a gondola ride every morning up the mountain from the resort (but its a nice town with good après ski)

Ponte di Legno/Passo del Tonale - as a teacher running school trips this is my favourite resort in the area because of the variety, and the 100km+ of piste. Two towns to pick from for après, but not a "big" resort so it's never that busy and it's very snow sure with a glacier at 3300m.

Folgaria - this might be the Dolomites but I can't remember, I went very late season with very little snow, but if there was good snow then it would be great, it's a few villages with their own ski areas all linked up by lifts, worth looking in to.

Knowing a bit of Italian helps, but the majority of people speak English (if only a bit). I've only been to France and Italy skiing, but would pick Italy every time.

Hope that helps! Any q's I'll try and answer if I can.
