But data scientists aren't necessarily statisticians. Many statisticians don't even need to wield real data (but data scientists, one might assume, do). But nevertheless, I guess if its true statistically... or should I say...I guess the data speaks for itself.

I just unlinked my Facebook account from G+ since I was seeing an increase in random friend requests. I guess this is a sign that these two worlds don't really mix well.

I think the relevance sort on circles is based on mutual circles, independent of whether that relationship is reciprocal. In other words, tons of spammy folks at the top of the list.
