Just went last night, the worst gaming/ entertainment venue myself and family has ever been. The machines were worn out and dirty with no attendant to help. More than half the ticket earning games were empty and gave no tickets. The bowling alley, was a joke with broken rails. And lastly we left with $20 on our play cards to which is now wasted and wont be used because I will NEVER RECOMMEND RASCALS TO ANYONE!!!! P.S. we thought the 2.5 stars was a fluke but boy were we wrong. Don't make our Mistake!

We have gone here a couple of times for our son since it was close by, however the games and interior seemed to be getting dated. There are no balls in the ball pit any longer and the laser tag game didn't seem to be working correctly. Not sure what is happening with the place and wish it would get a refresh since this is the only place like this that is in the immediate area.

Warning this place is a health hazard!!!!This place is nasty, it's dirty , trashy, smells, the game area looked cool at first, however there all old hand me down crap, doesn't work half the time, every time kids tried to play they'd have to get a refund. It's all trash. This place is a dump, so after giving up trying to let my kids play games, and after being severly dissapointed because my kids were so let down by the old malfunctioning games, I thought some food and pizza would cheer them up. Holy crap what a mistake, we had to try a few things on the menu and had to send everything back, the wings smelled land tasted like cheap dog food, they were so Grail I wouldn't feed them to my pets, the pizza was soggy and chewy and tasted like cardboard. The chips and cheese smelled like mildew. This place seriously needs health inspectors to walk through, I have no doubt in my mind they would be shut down. It's a health hazard, poor quality, trash! It's funny because they have a run down vw bug setting out front full of stickers and one of them says better than Dave and busters! Ha ha ha, it's clearly a joke, even if all there food and games were free, and they gave out 100 dollar bills as guests were leaving, it still wouldn't even come close to d&b. stay away!

Visited on 3/7/14 -- Rascal's is a combination of gaming/play area and restaurant. Our family of 4 thought the restaurant food was quite good and reasonably priced. So I would recommend the restaurant. The game area? Not so much. It is obviously poorly maintaned. I don't expect much from places like Chuck-E-Cheeses and The Works (in Reading) but this was far worse than any of those. There were so many games and machines that didn't work or were in such poor condition, it was amazing. 2 of the 4 bowling alleys didn't work. 3 of the 5 basketball games didn't work and the 2 that did has basketballs with the strings wearing through and the rubber bladder bulging out. How much do a few rubber basketballs cost to replace these horrible ones? The soccer game screen was blacked out for half of the game, the billiard tables were all out of order, etc, etc. It is obvious that there is no interest in keeping this place in good working condition. One of my kids wanted to do the rock climbing wall but given the condition of everything else I wasn't convinced that was a good idea. BUT we did get a lot of game play for the $60 in credits that we got with the Groupon. So the overall experience was just okay. The food was very good which made up for the shortcomings of the game area.

First off, I wanna say I don't see why this place is getting such horrible reviews. Its not nearly as bad as reviews make it out to be. The gaming area isn't that big but there are a decent amount of games. There were a few out of order last time I was there but most were in working condition. My only complaint would be about the waiting time in the restaurant area. There were three people there besides my party of four yet we still waited a good 25 minutes just for our drinks. When the food finally came out, it wasn't bad just mediocre. Certainly nothing to ride home about. One thing I will say is I'm glad they offer vegetarian options, so I give them credit for that. Overall I would say don't go expecting it to be like Dave & busters but don't go by the terrible reviews either. I would recommend trying out their lazer tag. Its fun and cheaper than Plant trog!

It is a small place and initially I was worried but it met my expectations. Not a huge amusement center but just good for 2 hour of fun time. Machines are all normal games.. not latest or advanced. Staff is limited but attended promptly even though there was a delay. Food.. I just ate pizza.. pizza was okay. waitress was sleepy.. she almost forgot everything,,,, not experienced I believe. There is beer & nice to sit and eat place.

We bought a groupon to use for our son's birthday. We went on a Tuesday night and the place was empty. The pizza was good, but small, so we ordered $20 worth of boneless wings. What we got was the BOTTOM of a bag of popcorn chicken. There were "wings" smaller than a dime. So what we thought could be shared among 3 adults was really like a single serving. If I had been the waitress I would have been embarrassed to serve that. We totally felt robbed. We will not be back.

We got the food and fun combo. Our server was friendly, but the pizza was mediocre at best. After we ate, we took the kids into the game room and it was FREEZING!! I honestly do not think they turned on the heat AT ALL. Half the lights were off. The bumper cars and the bowling alley were broken. A quarter of the arcade games were also broken. To top it all off, they had a poor selection of prizes for the kids to redeem with the tickets. I will not be back. This establishment is really going downhill. They should just close down....
