Students Walking After Greatness (SWAG) was the first competition of its kind hosted by Sumter County YouthBuild Program this past Saturday, June 29. The friendly competition afforded each student an opportunity to explore his or her personal growth through a speech.

Twelve courageous participants took to the stage affirming that Sumter County YouthBuild has changed their lives for the better. Each student that took to the podium detailed hardship and triumph, but most of all perseverance.


Cheers to them and all supporters that came to watch their loved ones shine!

Introduction
The South Sumter Resource Center (SSRC) is a department of Sumter County Government and a hub for local happenings. SSRC seeks to aid those looking to complete GED equivalence or complete a high school diploma. Our programs are geared toward job training, early education and is home to Sumter County Library.
