"The Pyramid Man" Nick Edwards joins us this Sunday on Strange Frequencies Radio with some New Age from the Old School. He will demonstrate his pyramid products on-air with us on Strange Frequencies Radio and promises listeners will have a mystical experience. This could get wild.

Sunday at 3pm Eastern on Strange Frequencies Radio: atheists go apeshit, we look at the "Weird of the Week," and then talk about assisted suicide w/ Hemlock Society founder Derek Humphry. It should be a powerful episode, folks.

When people stop tweeting and start squawking, I am forced to blog about it.

This is me posting a link to my blog. I figure, if I post a link, it will motivate me to post more...which is something I haven't done lately. I swear I've got a bunch of topics I plan to write about! http://www.forteansquirrel.com

Saw a Facebook post that said "RIP Grandpa." So I said his grandpa was an ignorant, lazy asshole. Apparently he doesn't know what "rip" means, because now he is mad at me.

Tom Anderson originally shared:

This is called The Minister’s House-- the world's largest tree house! It is over 97 feet tall and uses six Oak trees as support. It's got over 11 floors, and is about 10,000 sq ft. It's in Crossville, Tennessee, which means I'm gonna go to Crossville some day! They do give tours. (About 400 people a week visit.) I want take some photos of this thing! (Construction started in 1993, and because people started donating, the total cost so far has been less than $12,000 to the landscape architect/builder, Horace Burges. Go Horace!) Look how fancy I am posting links to a blog that has links to stuff I wrote elsewhere. It's like some kind of paradox!

Guy walks into court and blames a "paranormal presence" for his basement being full of stolen property. Hilarity ensues.

A confession: I am an atheist, it is true. But when my cat was missing a couple months back, and I was alone and teary-eyed on the porch in the middle of the night hoping to see her, I asked for help. It was silently, in my head, that I thought out something like, "Please let her come home. I'll do anything." Was this praying? I had no thought of God or any divine being when I was thinking this. I didn't clasp my hands together, or look to the heavens. Honestly, it felt in a way like bargaining, but also like a wish one might make before blowing out birthday candles. I wonder if other atheists have done this. Is this what the faithful feel when they are in times of trouble? I am curious to hear your opinions and personal stories. Oh, and by the way, we found that sneaky cat of mine the next afternoon trapped in a vacant house haha!
