+Lee Denison  and +Wesley Tarle excited about Google+ Sign-in really liked your presentation at I/O 2013 but I am scratching my head about the quality threshold mentioned in the docs "For your app to be eligible for this feature, it must be free and it must meet a quality threshold. This threshold is determined by Google and is subject to change." How can a new App with no users or reviews meet this quality threshold ? #android   #googleplus

+Kobo Inc. made a smart move with releasing the #aurahd  mid-cycle. They are releasing an E-Reader with a next generation eInk display, probably only available in small quantities at a high price, but they are first to market. So when ever +Amazon.com or +Barnes & Noble release their eReader refreshes they can't boast about the size or pixel density because Kobo has already been there done that. That's what I call stealing their thunder.
I am sure Kobo will bring out a very interesting refresh of the Glo with that exact display but reduced bezel. I checked and look at the mock, the Aura display fits nicely into the Glo's body.  #kobo   #koboglo   #koboaurahd   #eink   #amazon   #kindle   #barnesandnoble   #nook

I'm really starting to like +feedly  the latest updates are really a good improvement and it is great how +Edwin Khodabakchian is involving passionate users to get feedback. I would do the full switch to feedly if the UI could be tweaked just a little bit. Have a look at the attached images, the first would be to keep the Feeds tab open while showing the Titles, having it collapse every time I select a feed when I just wanna look at the headlines of different feeds irritating since I have to open the menu and then select the next feed. The other view that I would really like is a combined side by side view of headlines and content. It is one of the things that allow you to crunch through feeds easily.
Oh and being able to mark something unread after I accidentally marked it read needs to be either there or be exposed easier in the UI since I still haven't figured out how to do that.

Google reader shutting down, meh I can find a different platform.... or so I thought.
I tried Flipboard, Google Currents, Pulse and Feedly. I have to say while the android apps on Tablets are pretty all of them are terrible at accomplishing the task of reading news. Why does everything have to be in Magazine style. That's not how you can keep taps on many sites fast. Magazines are for casual reading. Google Reader was for churning through RSS feeds. I love the UI of Google reader the feed items on the left and content on the right. The next button along the side. I can whip through a feed and only have to move my thumbs I always know how many items are in my feed what's read and what isn't. So if there were an app that could come close that would be cool but I doubt there is. It's sad to see something great go away. Why is everyone so set on the magazine style it is not efficient.

College drive is completely backed up. Car accident on university bridge. Take a different route if you can. Busses rerouted via Broadway bridge. #saskatoon #yxe
