It was truly breathtaking. I came away believing I could build anything. I think that's the point.

It's cold, so last night I made a ice seed sculpture and now it's hanging out under the Drian tree. Heirloom pumpkin and tagetes marigold.

We'd love to experiment with seed balls too...guerilla gardening? http://youtu.be/dydgh2TbXJo #iceseedsculptu if you want to play tag...

Huge snowfalls in Eastern Europe and plummeting temperatures - down to -24C last week. Heading back to school on the sledge!

What are you scared of? Garden elitism, and a 24 hour offer - http://eepurl.com/lcvT9
It's been a hectic couple of months, and we've just got back from a trip back to Bristol (car loaded with heirloom seeds, yummy :)) to find a garden full of dandelions. And a lovely tender doc...

After 6 weeks of snow and sub-zero maximum temperatures, finally, yesterday, a day in the garden. Clearing all the broken things under the snow, experimental seaweed mulch on some garlic, planting flower seeds and bulbs. Today is a leaf day, so perhaps some spinach/greens and herbs. But not sure about my heirloom asparagus seeds: leaf or fruit?

I really want to read this book: "Extensive documentation of how plants communicate their healing qualities to humans and other animals. Western culture has obliterated most people's capacity to perceive these messages, but this book also contains valuable information on how we can restore our faculties of perception."
