Since opening in September 2005, this design-driven dining and entertainment complex in The Venetian has proven to be a hot spot like its sister venue in New York City. The multi-faceted and multi-story “Asian City” houses a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge, nightclub and beach in 60,000 square-feet.

Pan-Asian eats & a stylish lounge in the Venetian Resort, plus a poolside venue with lighter bites.- Google
"I ordered the sea bass and it was incredible!"
"Worse than a small town dive bar."

Didn't eat here but partied here . Pre purchased tickets and got in pretty quick . Alot of nice art and statues . And gogo girls all night . Sure it was crowded and the drinks where pricey but it's vegas . Very decent house dj with modern music stuff I hadn't even heard of. There's a small balcony overlooking the main street for smokers or non smokers and music was just right not to loud not to quiet very thankful for that since I hate being deaf for a month . I'd go again but probably pregame a little more just to save some dough

Pros: I was pretty drunk before going. Nice door girl gave us a discount on the ridiculous cover charge. Cons: cover was supposed to be $50 for my wife and myself. 4 shots of alcohol came out to be $68 A can of corona was $11 Worst DJ I've ever heard. Teen spirit should never be played in a club. Everything else would have been cool 10 years ago. TLDR: Shitty music. Over priced everything. I'll never go there again.

I was waiting for my girlfriend to come out of the girls restroom. Kyle kicked me out. I explained the situation. He said "we only want hot single grils in here" and kicked me out. I bought a wristband and explained it to him. worst service ever.

Under whelmed. Over priced . If you like dumplings and soy ginger sauce then this is the place for you. If you like $30.00 sushi rolls that aren't impressive come on down. My friend ordered the Seabass and it was great tasting but a big eater or someone who just wants to feel full would need two plates. Just a lot of sizzle and no substance. Publix grocery stores offers a more appealing sushi menu. Service was lack luster after our server realized we didn't want the $70.00 per head chef's menu. He checked out. Garbage experience.....Hit up a WOK Express instead. Can't see myself ever going back.

Great vanilla ice cream paired with decent bread pudding. The main courses however left lots to be desired. Pork bbq ribs were very tender but mostly fat. Another pork dish was rather small. We also had shrimp tempura and scallops. 2 shrimp 8.00. 2 scallops 10.00. Essentially, the prices would have been acceptable if the food was worth it. Paid 120.00 for 3 people for food taste and presentation worth 30.00 for 3.

A friend and I visited Tao's restaurant and club in Vegas during memorial weekend 2015 and we were definitely impressed. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious. The entrance to the restaurant itself was very unique! Walking into the restaurant there were bath tubs full of naked women tastefully cover in flowers. No pictures were allowed but I tried unsuccessfully anyway. We sat in the bar area until out table was ready and had a drink. The bartenders were helpful and courteous but the bar was very full. Once we were seated for dinner we decided to share a meal of their lobster fried rice as well as the glazed salmon. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and the salmon was cooked perfectly. However, we both thought the lobster fried rice was very salty and way too greasy. Their was literally a pool of grease in the bowl of rice which we were surprised they did not drain a little before serving it to us. After having dinner in their restaurant we were informed that entrance into their club was complimentary for all diners. This was a big plus because it allowed us to avoid the $30.00 per person cover charge. The club was very much like the restaurant - beautiful and full of both naked and costumed woman but this time they were all dancing instead of lounging like the ladies in the bathtubs at their restaurants entrance. Like at the restaurant bar the club bar served very good drinks. Snoop dogg was the entertainment for the night I was there. When the club let out the staff surprisingly handed out flip flops to all the women. But on the downside the flip flops were all the same size but this didn't stop any of the women from using the slippers LOL. My friend said they were a relief from her high heels. I simply took mine home as a souvenir. The take home slippers were definitely a unique touch. The only negative that I could recall beside the one size fits all slippers was the greasy rice but the rest of my experience was wonderful. I'd definitely return when I'm in Vegas again.

The food is a C+ in taste and presentation. My neighborhood Chinese restaurant serves better food. I certainly expected better from a higher priced restaurant. The ambiance was relaxed. It is, however, VERY dark (as in lighting dark). The service is the reason why I am giving this restaurant a good review. The waiters, busers, and security guys were very professional, friendly, and respectful. Replace the chef keep the waiters, perhaps?

"I would like to make you well aware of how your manager and security staff treated me as a paying customer and out of town, first-time-visitor to Las Vegas and Tao nightclub. I had my girlfriend, Elbony Hawkins, purchase our tickets in advance to attend the Halloween event being hosted by Snoop Dogg. I flew four hours from Georgia to attend a girlfriend's birthday celebration for the weekend and the first stop was to be Tao. I got to Tao around 1am and was denied admittance because of having a non expired temporary license. A temporary license which is issued in Nevada as well as Georgia, until a hard copy is mailed. The Asian security guard with the gray beard escorted me out of the front of the venue and handed my license to the black security guard over the velvet rope who asked "what happened?" I explained and he told me that what the Asian security guard said went, so I asked for a manager I was referred to a white, short, bald man who was in a casual conversation with an officer. I interjected and complained about the service I had been receiving and the grievance of having travelled almost five hours to only be denied entrance over my valid state issued ID. Your staff and manager was completely unapologetic and patronizing stating- "Sweetie, it's out of my hands it's state law." My friend insisted on a refund and he said that we should ask for it from the merchant not them. The next day I contacted Tao and was greeted by Katie, I'm assuming a hostess, she asked what my call was in regards to in order to speak to management and she seemed surprised being that two female tickets were purchased and I was denied entrance, she told me a manager would be in contact right away. Kristy called me back and asked for Elbony-how she even got that Elbony purchased our ticket is still unknown to us. Kristy offered a full refund and no apology. No one from Tao apologized to either of us for the inconvenience we had incurred and of course an apology now from Tao would be forced and lack any contrition. For future attendance of other out of state patrons to your establishment you should inform them of YOUR policy of not allowing patrons in with temporary ID's or who don't meet your superficial criteria. We both will be sure to follow up this negative and costly experience not only with our friends but our social media followers and the BBB."- This was the letter I sent to Tao Nightclub 11/3 and never got a response back and JUST today (12/11/2014) the refunded my girlfriend only half of the money spent on our tickets.
