Now that we're approaching the first full week in the new year, and everyone's making their New Years Resolutions, we heard about a great idea to keep it simple by choosing just One Word to focus on and lean into this year.  We encourage you to do the same.  What will your One Word be for 2015?  Grateful, Joy, Discipline, Peace?  We at Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine are Thankful; Thankful for all of those that we have come to know through the years! Let us know what your One Word is.

Wrestling is a sport that requires intense training and places strenuous demands on the athlete’s body. This can often result in high rates of injury—as high as 30.7 per 1,000 athlete exposures in college wrestling, second only to injury rates in college football. Read on to see how important proper equipment, training, nutrition and hydration are in helping to avoid serious injuries. If you're already experiencing pain, call and schedule a consultation with Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at 630-377-1188 and we can help you get back in the game.
