When I did a search on the internet and this spa seem not too bad, so I've decided to give it a try. So I've booked the appointment and all and when it comes to the day of the appointment, I was running late DUE TO car died in the middle of the road and so I had to call CAA and called the spa that I'm running late due to my car died and they said it's ok that you're running late as we are having problem with the facial machine and they're getting someone to fix it and will I make it before they close. I said I'll try ask the CAA are running behind, so I'll do my best. I'll give you a call and to keep you updated. As time comes, CAA told me the car needs to be tolled and it's a bit more complicated. Therefore I called back to the spa and explain to them the current situation and thinking that due to the situation they would NOT charge me for the no show due to this circumstances that's beyond my control. I was really mad when my credit card statement come and they charge me the FULL amount $xxxx. So I've told all my friends and friends of friends NOT TO GO !!!! It's a ripoff when it's under special circumstances. They did NOT offer to come for other day to honour the charges !! RIPOFF !!! Money GRABBER !!

If you have yet to experience Elixir Spa, now is the time!! The atmosphere is tranquil, the staff are attentive, courteous and lovely and the products are outstanding: all natural, vegan and organic; your skin will rejoice in glory once taking it all in! I strongly recommend this spa.

Wonderful facials, great value especially with promos. Love the e-newsletter. Staff are very friendly and nice. Waxing isn't great, I felt like a piece of my skin had ripped off! Organic french manicures are great and long lasting.

I pass by Elixir every morning on the Streetcar and I've always wondered if the organic products really make a difference. Let me assure you THEY DO! I finally decided to get a facial there and it was heavenly. My skin never felt so soft or looked so good. The staff is very friendly and the tone of the place is very laid-back not pretentious like a lot of spas. This is my kind of spa; you can be yourself, get pampered and have some really good herbal tea. I will definitely go again!

I fell in love with Elixir when I still lived in Toronto. I moved to Kitchener almost 10 years ago and have been incorporating this wonderful spa into my Toronto visits whenever possible. Love that I can trust that anything that goes on my body is safe, the esthetician never leaves your side when having a facial, and I feel blissful after each treatment. A hint: arrive early and you'll be served a delicious loose leaf tea.

I love to pamper myself, so needless to say I've been around the block to various spas. Elixir is my fav - hands down. First, I was sold at 100% organic and synthetic free. Then the experience closed the deal. This cute boutique spa has everything needed for a truly relaxing, rejuvenating experience. From the friendly, knowledgeable staff to the yummy aroma as soon as you enter - this place has me coming back for more!

Knowing that I prefer natural beauty services, my sister sent me to Elixir for a facial. As a first-timer, I had a very good experience. My esthetician was very friendly, asked sensible questions about my skin, and told me what was happening. I found the scrub very pleasant, as I already use a food-grade exfoliant on occassion that is made of brown sugar and oils. Why would you want to use anything else on your face? I had the moisture + aroma hydrating facial, and it was lovely. The extractions were not as painful as I expected them to be, so I not only left with a very clean face, but left happy and relaxed, too. I will definitely be going back.

I've been to many spas in the city, both the high-end ones and the quick and dirty ones. I have to say that this spa provides the least bang for your buck. You pay high-end spa prices to get low-end spa services. I went to this spa for a wax and what would take any other spa at least 20 minutes, took them 5. They did not apply talc/baby powder prior to applying the wax, they did not use the proper technique to remove the waxing strips, and they did not do a once over with tweezers when they were done. The aesthetician (not even sure if she was licensed) kept complaining about how she hated her job and had no regard for my comfort or the quality of her work at all. I have paid half the price for twice the quality of service in many other places and will never go back here again.
