2017 Week #50 Update
The weather worm turned today, bringing slightly (but much appreciated) warmer temperatures. My mood and productivity both improved as a consequence. And I’ve gotten partway into the rewrite of PH chapter 16, the last (except for the epilogue.)

2017 Week #49 Update
The bitter cold has returned (though hopefully only for a little while) and I didn’t get a whole lot of work done this week. I did rewrite more of PH chapter 15, but I didn’t finish it, and I feel like my main character. As Duncan gets closer to the truth o...

2017 Week #48 Update
First, I’d like to thank both Janice and Candy for their reviews of Threat Multiplication. As for me, I’ve started rewriting PH chapter 15 – the end of the previous chapter had left Duncan shocked and confused and angry. Now he has to scrabble to come up wi...

2017 Week #47 Update
Hope you’re having a happy holiday weekend (and exercising reasonable restraint amid all the various temptations this time of year.) I’ve actually gotten some good work done this week despite everything. I’ve started in on the rewrite of PH chapter 14, wher...

2017 Week #46 Update
I’m partway through the rewrite of PH chapter 13, and I feel like I’m stuck in slow mode. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. However much I want to finish Slowpocalypse Book 5 so all of you can read it, it’s more important to get it done right. I belie...

2017 Week #44 Update
Wow, what a weekend! My Miraibanashi omnibus releases on Monday, and I’ve had a fair number of pre-orders come in. (I’m sure it helps that I lowered it to a special launch price of $2.99.) And at the same time I’ve been having a 99¢ sale on Millennium Crash...

2017 Week #43 Update
The weather has turned cold here again, and I’ve gotten a little ways into the rewrite of PH chapter 11, where Duncan is about to encounter a couple of unpleasant surprises. If that doesn’t sound like much forward progress, I’ve also been going back and re-...

2017 Week #42 Update
We’ve had several days of really nice weather here, and I’ve gotten a good chunk of my next book rewritten. I’m partway through chapter 10 of Slowpocalypse Book 5, and Duncan (the main character) is quite angry. With good reason. And the omnibus edition of ...
