Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 835 in November, but the company didn't go into too much detail about the chipset. Now at CES 2017, Qualcomm has officially launched the Snapdragon 835, and has provided much more details than they did way back in November.

The octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is manufactured on 10nm FinFET technology, but instead of using fully-custom Kryo cores, the company has opted for a design that is more closely based on ARM's reference cores (Kryo 280). The end result, is a chipset that is 20% faster than the Snapdragon 820, and up to 25% more power-efficient. The Snapdragon 835 also supports up to 32 MP single and 16 MP dual-cameras with Qualcomm Spectra 180 ISP, Bluetooth 5, and a new Qualcomm Aqstic WCD9341 audio codec and DAC. As for the GPU, the Adreno 540 is 25% faster than it's predecessor, and offers support for HDR and 4K@60fps displays.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 also features Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0, which is not only USB-C and USB Power Delivery compliant, but also offers 20% faster charging than Quick Charge 3.0.

Fall in love with the language

Fall in love with the language. I mean this literally: get into the language so deeply that you can’t imagine living without it.

Listen to it being spoken. Listen to it being sung. Hang out with people who speak it, just so that you have the opportunity to be immersed in it. Let the language get under your skin and into your bones. Immerse yourself as you have never immersed yourself in anything before.

And then, when you are ready, when you feel like you and the language are truly one, do some grammar and vocabulary work – not because you have to but because you want to. Do it because it brings you just that much closer to the language you can’t live without. Because, the truth is, language is life.
