"The men and women who charge and convict criminals are mostly good people, but too beholden to voters. Then there are the ones who lie and cheat to win at any cost.
One year ago, Michael Brown was shot dead by a police officer. Since then, the nation has debated the justice system more feverishly than any other period in recent memory"
To start why is it stated as a given the "are mostly good people, but too beholden to voters. Then there are the ones who lie and cheat to wi...n at any cost" For Blacks' and most people of "color" .this posit of "a few bad apples" is not the reality. The opposite is the norm as increasingly average Joe white America is beginning to discover, the recent killing of Zachary Hammond, Seth Adams, Dillon Taylor...etc. The numbers are telling a different story not one of a few untrained cops but an "above the law culture" of a gang that should not be given power over others with the absolute same to be said of prosecutors!
