Swinging saloon doors lead to chile-spiced, smoky flavors at this Santa Fe-inspired eatery.- Google
"The ribs are delicious, and the green chile mac and cheese is to die for."

Cool little Mexican food joint in the Mission with ample seating, a more modern vibe and great tacos. Tuesday's they have the taco special and they are all delicious. They have some good local beer on tap (only one Mexican beer) and killer guacamole. There is one large TV next to the bar to watch games, otherwise there is plenty of seating outside the bar area. Great location for a relaxed meal or to just grab a drink. Margaritas looked good but I didn't try them.

Hardcore deliciousness. Not for the light appetite. You are going to get greasy, delicious, meals and hardcore, liqour-tastic drinks. Margaritas, sangrias, and so many delicious Tex-Mex choices. It's definitely a gem in the Mission Street. More upscale than a local taqueria and more downscale than the hoighty toity restaurants that keep popping up every corner. Bring an empty belly because you won't want to waste a bit.

Yummy margaritas, friendly waitstaff and delicious queso are the biggest reasons to make your way to West of Pecos! It's a pretty big restaurant so it's a good go-to for groups or for snagging a reservation last minute. If you're looking for Tex-Mex, West of Pecos has you covered.

Expected something overpriced and terrible from what looked like a chain- wound up with seriously amazing Honey Duck tacos (only served during happy hour at very reasonable prices) and sangria. So good! Highly recommended.

Getting a table can be arduous, but your patience is rewarded with creative cocktails and New-Mexico-style dishes. The mezcal mule was great! The ahi tuna tacos, with mini hard shells, were tasty (though a little on the small side). The brisket and green chile sliders were good, but too much brisket/sauce, not enough chile (and again, small portions - just two of them). Good place, overall.

I didn't eat there, just a guacamole. But I was pleasantly surprised with their Margaritas and Bourbon-infused drinks. The decor is very cool, I didn't know if I was in New Mexico, texas or Mexico.. then I learned that Pecos is in Texas. Feels like a Mexican restaurant and I was kind of hoping to see more authentic Texan food but i guess that would be Mexican? Staff was great, great bartenders, decor, decor, decor.. and loved the fireplaces outside. Have to go back and try more of their food. This is 100% Mission!
