Our scaffolding couplers are being used as part of an ambitious research project - "Scaff fittings are ideal for our temporary construction as they are cheap, strong, lightweight (when used with ali scaff tube) and modular, requiring little effort to install with minimal tools." http://bit.ly/2tqsvOx

Popular Auckland bar and eatery, The Good Home have created "The Lion's Den" fan-zone in an otherwise weather-dependent deck space using Safesmart Access gear. Dragon Scaffolding's innovative design incorporates truss beams, tube and couplers to provide the robust support structure, which when covered with white shrink-wrap provides attractive and effective protection from the June weather. Fully equipped with a big screen, we reckon the Lion’s Den, is the perfect pop-up venue for pre, during and post-game entertainment with all the comforts of Blighty! http://bit.ly/2t5jOJm

A boost in all-industry funding for work-based training was announced at the Industry Training Federation Workforce Development Summit yesterday, with an additional $7 million to be invested in apprentices and industry training over the next four years. The funding - announced by Tertiary Education Minister Paul Goldsmith and Associate Tertiary Education Minister, Louise Upston, is in addition to $14.4 million included within the 2016 Budget. Is this enough to support the construction industry’s continued growth? http://bit.ly/2sRxK9V
