I went here on a Saturday night and was told a 45 minute wait. Okay that was totally acceptable, the place was rammed. What's not okay is that after an hour , the status was checked and it seems you mightve strategically skipped us. Shady. After such a long wait I really didnt want to go to another restaurant for another hour wait time. So against my better judgment I stayed. A very bland waitress came over, whatever, took our orders. The food was mediocre at best and thats me grading on a curve. ( Enchilladas rancheras )The frozen margarita drinks were amazing. Hence the two stars. After taking our orders initially, I had never seen our bland waitress again. Not to check how the food was, ( that another person served us ) if we needed another drink , nothing, that is until the bill was asked for. The bill was ... yeah El Patron was so " nice " enough to already pre include the gratuity, which was 18% which wouldn't have been a big deal except that the service was no where 18% of an already pricey bill. Unless you're going solely for drinks, dont waste your time.

Horrible experience. They refused to deliver because we were 8 blocks away from the delivery area despite me agreeing to pay a delivery fee. Also we ordered and they delivered from there before. Manager did not give a crap about losing a customer. Last time we used them food was mediocre and way overpriced. The only reason we called is that our two favorite restaurants closed and we do not know anything closer. Last order was over 120$ and they charged me 5$ delivery. That is ridiculous. Do not order from here, not worth it.

It's a beautiful place, but I didn't like different waiters at my table. It cause an extra charge on my check. The appetizers and drink are great, but the main courses need to be updated. I had the Chicken Crusted Parmesan and it lacked flavor among creativity. I don't understand, why they don't offer refills on soda drinks for kids. They gave my daughter a small glass, and charge me fives times to refill. I agree, it's too overpriced and I will not be making a come back. Sorry, Fushimi.

Nice looking place. But the price for the dishes is unreasonable and unbeatable high. You would pay just for dishes presentation. The portions are for kittens. It's a good place to feed birds.Shame on you!Disappointed! Don't waist your time and money, guys!

I don't often go to Fushimi because it is out of my way and rather pricey. However, they do have lunch specials that range from $11-14 which is a very good deal for this restaurant. Today, I tried the Tekka Don (slices of raw tuna and avocado over sushi rice) and a sake sangria (which had lychees, strawberries, & blueberries). Both were very delicious. This dinner cost me about $40 including taxes and a tip.

A classic example of style over substance. Beautiful presented dishes but with to much flavor. Was there on a quite afternoon for a tasting menu and was brought out some of the most exquisite looking dishes I have ever seen. The problem was when I started tasting, there was just to much going on. Just to many flavors that I could not get a grasp of what I should focus on. The staff was very helpful in describing the presented dishes and they were served hot and ver quickly. The place is a little dated on the outside (think is was once a disco back in the day) but inside its a site to see. Private booths in the back along with a fancy sushi bar. The front has a bar and more seating as well. The bathrooms also go with the decor and are very clean. Rated "A" by NYC.

Don't believe the hype Fushimi is all ambiance, over rated and over priced. There is definitely better. I live in the area and I have to say, people always mention Fushimi which I don't understand. Suki, fairly new, recently opened, is in my top 5 of best sushi places ever but it is over shadowed by Fushimi's decor and not getting the attention and crowd it deserves. When I'm paying for top quality sushi I'm not getting that at Fushimi. If you want rolls that are filled and thick, try Suki, atleast once and you will never go back to Fushimi It's not as glitzy as Fushimi but its a good looking place with amazing sushi.
