Turns out Shelagh and I are going through a blue period!
I was going to write the post about how much I loved making my Lace Bias Scarf (which I did love making) and how much I loved working with this new yarn (I did). This summer scarf was, in fact, as fun and easy to knit up as I...

You may recall I was working with a gorgeous cotton/rayon blend yarn from Blue Heron Yarns back in April. At the time, I was struggling to find a pattern and had tried making something on my own. I had a vision of a summer wr...

Swatching . . . and getting ideas for a new project!
I don't actually have a new project on the go at the moment--the Spring Greens Shawl is still on my needles, patiently waiting for me. However, what I have is a couple of skeins of amazing yarn I've been itching to get my han...

The Yarn Yogi: I love knitting. I love Tree Pose.
Introduction

I have completed my RYT-200 program and will be teaching Hatha yoga. I am excited about bringing my students the strength and groundedness I feel through yoga practise. And, as co-founder of Three Sisters Knit with my sister Shelagh, I knit gorgeous and unique items for our Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ThreeSistersKnit).

As a former editor, project manager, and people manager for an international educational publisher, I like to have a few projects on the go. But now, I am so happy to choose which projects!
