The Tarantino Show was FUN! I very much enjoyed it! Seeing parts of Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Reservoir Dogs with music, dance and singing all around was such a CABERET experience! BUT the Service was BAAAAD! We sat at 7:30pm and had our dinner at 9pm!!!! Our server, Kenny, appeared stand offish, and paranoid. Whether it be the Unfriendly waiter or Uncoordinated Kitchen Staff, Consumers who pay a pretty penny for a $26.00 Meal with a $10.00 Glass of Wine and a $23.00 Ticket for entertainment SHOULD NOT wait an hour for their meal!!! We received a luke warm meal an hour later. GO FOR DINKS AND THE SHOW ONLY!!! The Choreagrapher graduated from USC and was a classmate of my brothers. The show was well performed and took place all around the room and it was fun to watch. Unfortunately the service and food down graded the experience!!! Peace All!

Well all I can say is that the food was to die for it was very good. Service could of been better knowing that there were not a lot of people except our big party. It took them a long time to take our order and bring our food. They told me they have a DJ coming on a friday night but he never showed up which is not good at all. Very dissapointing.

I used to be a regular and spent a LOT of time and money at Vermont, ranging from multiple stops weekly myself and hosting work and private parties there. Change in management. All I can say is that if I wanted to drink at the Abbey I would go to WEHO. The place has definitely changed. Now clubby, cabaret scene (they installed a stage and a DJ booth... you get the idea). The regular staff, and some of the best bartenders in LA, have all been replaced or cut back to the point of not being there. New bartenders actually have had to ask me how to make a drink. Menu has been made pretty generic (could be any restaurant in LA) and most of the unique dishes are gone (some new happy hour snacks are a good addition, though). Overall, pretty bad food selections, so eat somewhere else if forced to go here for a cocktail. And they have the audacity to charge a cover to get stuck in a crappy cabaret scene when you just need a quiet drink. It is hard to underestimate what bad management that doesn't know the neighborhood can do. A great grown up bar has died. New area just opened out back. Now the place just seems schizoid. Menus can't be ordered between venues. Bartenders are terrible in back, but at least you don't have to deal with the scene. I have to assume the owners are making money off catering and just don't care about the rest of the business. It hurts to say this given how much I relied on the place for years, but it now just is not worth the trouble.
