Reigning champion Moses Kipsiro of Uganda defended his title, just beating Kenyan Josphat Kipkoech Bett by .03 in the men's 10,000m final. Canada's Cameron Levins took the bronze.

At the Scotstoun Sports Campus, Singapore's Tianwei Feng saw off compatriot Mengyu Yu 11-7 11-8 11-9 10-12 11-2 to win gold in the women's table tennis singles. The bronze went to Singaporean Ye Lin.

It’s an England 1-2-3 in the table tennis mixed doubles! Joanna & Paul Drinkhall have beaten compatriots Liam Pitchford & Tin-Tin Ho to win the gold. Kelly Sibley and Danny Reed took the bronze earlier, beating Singapore 3-1.

Over at Hampden Park, Eleanor Patterson of Australia took gold in the women's high jump. St Lucia's Levern Spencer, who won bronze at Delhi 2010, failed her second attempt at 1.96m putting her in third to give the silver to England’s Isobel Pooley.

Singapore's Ning Gao and Hu Li took gold in the men's table tennis doubles, beating India's defending champion Sharath Kamal Achanta and new partner Amalraj Anthony Arputharaj 3-1.

At the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh, Australians Domonic Bedggood and Matthew Mitcham took gold in the men's 10m platform synchronised final, beating out England's Tom Daley and James Denny (silver) by just 0.18 of a mark!

In the women's discus, 26 year old Dani Samuels of Australia took Commonwealth gold with a throw of 64.88. India's Seema Punia won silver and England's Jade Nicholls bronze.

Darren Burnett of Scotland defeated Canada's Ryan Bester 21-9 to win the men's lawn bowls singles title. Burnett's win gave Scotland their third #Glasgow2014 lawn bowls gold, their best result since 1994.
