Perfect Drinking Chocolate

you will need:
180ml glass preheated with hot water
natural unsweetened cocoa powder
honey (I use raw, unfiltered)
salt
vanilla extract
some variety of milk (I use rice milk. Coconut milk works amazingly, but it's too rich for me.)
(optional: cayenne pepper)

Pour not quite 180ml milk into a saucepan and heat it.
Meanwhile, pour the hot water out of the glass and dry it. Add 2.5g (1/2 tblsp) cocoa powder, 10.5g (1/2 tblsp) honey, a few sprinkles of salt (be more generous than you feel you should), a splash of milk and a dozen or so drops of vanilla into the glass and mix.
When milk is hot, add it to the glass and stir.
Drink. Enjoy.

Of course, he's taken concrete as his example. Someone, somewhere, surely can come up with a flax based mixture that could be used.

Asimov writes about 2014 back in 1964. It's a fun read, and some of it is bang on.
August 16, 1964. Visit to the World's Fair of 2014. By ISAAC ASIMOV. T he New York World's Fair of 1964 is dedicated to "Peace Through Understanding." Its glimpses of the world of tomorrow rule out thermonuclear warfare. And why not? If a thermonuclear war takes place, the future will not be ...

I've been treading the shallow water far too long. I need to go deep again. This post reminded me of that. We learn lessons, but then we forget them and need to learn them again.
Life gets loud. Yes, it's a metaphor. Go with me here. You know what I'm talking about. A hundred things play at you day in, day out. They clamor for attention. They mimic importance. But they really just amount to a cacophony of activities that squeeze out the truest notes.

A good post. When we close our eyes and listen it's amazing how similar sounds are. Listening to traffic on the highway from a distance sounds like the waves crashing on the shore from a distance..

I am quite looking forward to this. It seems (from the trailers I've seen) like a cross between Assassin's Creed and Deus Ex - Human Revolution, and some open world crime game like Grand Theft Auto (but not that). Also, I had trouble telling if this trailer was CGI or real life.

I had trouble too distinguising it..especially at first. I thought they used real actors for the street scenes..how far graphics have come..imagine after 5-7 years what we'll see..

#XboxOne looks pretty amazing. Definitely great for people who like to do two things at once (not me, personally - I like to dedicate my entire attention to what I'm doing). But the one reservation I have is that it's very America-focused: American TV, American sports. I wonder how well these aspects will work internationally.

Thinking about this more for gamers i think the PC could be the big winner.  With Steambox but also the real innovations that gamers are interested in like the Oculus Rift.

Introduction
I've been writing since I was a child, but became more serious about it the more novels I read. There were too many "boring bits" in too many books, so I set out to write the story I wanted to read. It's still in progress, because I'm still learning what makes a story good.

I love my new hairstyle. I got a cut and colour, and Yahasmin did both expertly. She took her time and made sure the colour had enough time to process, that it would come out as vibrant as I wanted it. And the cut... Her words as she started to cut were, "I'm going to be quiet now while I concentrate on your hair." No one has cut my hair so perfectly. I'm delighted with the new style and will definitely be going back when I need a trim.
