Great to do something different this week after doing a small repair on a roof the lady asked me to clean down her driveway with my pressure washer that we use to clean down roofs to make it look brand new before Christmas

Please don't leave your valley before it gets this old and you end up having water flow into your home.

Things you should look for before buying a house, even around 12 years old like this one, where the top ridge capping slipped down causing rain to enter.

This picture shows a photo of a roof extension where the owner requested to have insulation paper installed under the roof tiles to create better energy rating to the house.

A heads up to home owners or new home buyers.
It is not always the Roof or lead flashing behind the wall that can leak onto your ceilings when a problem arises over a long time on an older roof.
In this photo it shows the rendered wall where the water is getting behind it and leaking on to the ceilings. (Sorry i didn't get a closer photo to show more examples)
Anyway I learnt something new out of this job myself but knew it wasn't the roof leaking and thought to call a renderer to double inspect and confirmed it was the wall causing water to enter due to a faulty wall issue.
Hope this post helps someone out down the track.

Look how clean the tiles look now, as you can see i have only washed down half the roof so you can see when the moss is removed.

Have a look at this 20 years ago this was Australian standards, cutting in the roof tiles tight together. What they didn't realize back then is that all the gunk builds up overtime and causes them to flood out and leak onto the inside of the ceilings.
Should be a lot better now I have opened them up to let the water flow freely down the Valley iron.
