Let's talk shoes ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘  More precisely, #bridalshoes and what to consider when buying them. Well, comfort is one thing, but you've probably already read that in every bridal magazine or blog. Nevertheless, make sure your main pair is comfortable for at least the duration of your ceremony and drinks and have a pair of flats to change into. On my wedding day I had a wonderful pair of very expensive pumps that I was very adamant on wearing as much as possible. Although they were the most comfy heels I ever had the wedding was held entirely in a garden and after a couple of hours of moving around for photos and talking to guests I was in pain. So I swaped them for a cheap pair of balet pumps whenever I had to walk around, and wore the heels only for photos and dancing (first part of the night at least). Worked perfectly and I got to enjoy my gorgeous heels plenty.
Now that I've got the obvious out of the way, your wedding shoes are the best way to show your personality and style. While being adventurous with your wedding gown is quite scary and most brides prefer to stick to the classic looks, the shoes are the one thing you can get really creative and personal with. If you are afraid you're favourite style won't go well with the dress, consider this: most of the time they won't even be visible under the dress. But the feeling that you are wearing your favourite pair of shoes beats everything and you can have fun by offering everyone an occasional peek and show them off in photos. So let your personality shine through by choosing the colour, shape and style of shoes you love. ๐Ÿ˜‰
My favourite and most daring bride wore olive green peep-toe ankle boots this summer for her #destinationwedding in Greece. Talk about personal style shining through ๐Ÿ‘. Still waiting for photos from that wedding, but can't wait to share them with everyone. In the mean time check out another great example from this wedding in Tuscany - you'll find it under 'Rolling hills, good wine & Mona Lisa' in the Portfolio at the link in bio.

Officially saying goodbye to summer and opening the door for autumn. As much as I will miss the pastels and sun-drenched days of summer, I am really excited about the vibrant and darker tones of this season.
Oh, and in case you are wondering, for me the official sign for the start of autumn is given by the squirrels in the park, behind my house. There is no trace of them around the garden all year long and I only see them in the park. As soon as autumn starts they start coming to my garden to bury acorns. And they do this everyday for about 2-3 months. Well today the first squirrel has entered my garden to store acorns. So there you have it - my natural seasonal clock.
Double tap if you like my natural clock and share yours below.

Today I decided it was about time I wrote a wedding related blog post to start sharing some of my thoughts and experience on creating that unique and highly personal #weddingday. I'm going to start with the #stationery, as the style ambassadors of any wedding, and special event in general.
Personally I love caligraphy and stationery, and I even created a stationery suite for two weddings I designed (in the photo is one of them). So stay tuned to find out more and drop me a comment below if you want me to talk about something in particular in this post.

I've always been fascinated by masks and masquerade balls. I love the mistery and theatricals of a masked affair. Plus I think it's such a fun way of getting a little insight into people's personalities.
So, one sunny day I decided to put together this #liveboard, in the hope that someone will love it and will ask me to turn in into an awesome #party for them. Let me know if you like it in the comments below or tag someone who you think would be into this.
Hope you all have a nice bank holiday!

Isn't nature awesome?! I don't think there is anything else out there quite as inspiring as the wonderful creations of our natural world. The colours, the shapes, the textures and patterns...And the less we tamper with it the more beautiful and surprising it is. Don't you think?

I realised recently I haven't shared too much with you about how Teastyle came to be and what it is all about. Well, as you can imagine I am a big fan of British afternoon tea and everything it entails. That and my passion for diversity, travel and culture have given me the direction for my creative career and ultimately lead to my design concept - Teastyle.
Similarly to individual lifestyle, with Teastyle I merge personal and cultural traditions with contemporary, artistic and social elements to create an original experience that reflect's a client's personality and style.

I'm sharing this gorgeous #bridalbouquet in the hope that it will bring everyone a little bit of sunshine on this gloomy day and offer someone just the inspiration they need, as it did for me. Don't you just love those colours and textures?! ๐Ÿ˜

Today is one of those days when I just want to sit on the sofa, watch a good movie and eat doughnuts. I was going to talk about being daring with your wedding dress and staying true to yourself, and your personal style. But at this point I can only think of doughnuts.

OK, OK, I will say this though...have fun and pick something that is truly reflective of your style and personality. It's so important. And Iโ€™m not just talking about choosing between a princess gown and a lace fitted dress. I mean bring in some bold colours, choose a black haute couture dress or go for a cool womenโ€™s tux instead, if thatโ€™s who you truly are and how you feel most comfortable.

P.S.: I think womenโ€™s tuxes are awesome.

Dress - custom made by @margostankova from last year's wedding in Tuscany.

Isn't it weird how often we start a project with an image in mind of what we want to achieve and what it should mean, and end up with something different? This is what this image is to me. At the time I was putting together an inspiration live board to show off a simple arrangement with a slightly moody summer palette and rich textures. Right now this photo reminds me of the lengths I am willing to go just to put to test all of my random creative ideas. That is, brave through some very thorny bushes behind my house and climb a 2 metre, very thin and bendy lilac bush, just to get a couple of branches filled with blooms. Granted, I do have the excuse that I am crazy in love with lilacs and I've been dying to showcase them in some form of styled arrangement. You're probably wondering why I didn't just buy some, since they were in season? Well it's just my luck that for weeks none of the florists in my area had any lilacs. And plus that bush full of blooms, which I think might be the tallest lilac bush ever, had been tantalising me for a couple of weeks. Anyway, it's needless to say that when inspiration strikes and you have all the other ingredients in hand, you just have to go for it. So this is it. The story of this image that was supposed to convey an effortless style.

Let's talk about dreams to fuel our week... My biggest dream right now, is to create awesome experiences that elevate and inspire people to do good and do better and do their own beautiful things in turn.
I also dream of seeing new places as often as possible, meeting awesome people, surrounding myself with flowers, painting more often and dancing all day long.
What do you dream of on this lovely summer day? ๐Ÿ˜Š
