A former speakeasy, this restaurant & bar boasts a menu of locally-sourced, elevated comfort food.- Google
People talk about chicken and waffles, great beer selection, mac & cheese, sweet potato fries and applewood smoked bacon

Slightly over-priced for what it is, decent bar food. Good service even though the kitchen was slow in preparing the few sandwiches we ordered for lunch. Relaxed, low-key atomosphere. The new outdoor, between buildings alley way, space is weird but an alternative for indoor sitting in the summer months.

yum! dinner and brunch both wonderful. only downside: when the bar is hopping (friday and saturday nights especially) the biltmore is too noisy to hear your dining companions.....

I went for one of their special events, the second Paleo Dinner. It was a fantastic five course meal done following the caveman diet. Each part I wasn't sure how they could do better than the last, but they did. The chef came out and explained how he made each dish as it was served with the course. It was an experience more than just going out to eat! The dessert was mind-blowing. It was better than most of the junk my sweet-tooth wants. The waitstaff always made sure we had what we needed, they were very accommodating. The decor felt very historic. I could imagine decades of people making memories in the same spaces I was in. Great place!

My favorite local haunt. Great bar food - not your typical bar food. Divey looking from the outside, but that's what gives this place is charm. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable and make the effort to get to know you. Always my first choice when staying local.

We arrived for lunch and after the hostess returned to her station we were immediately seated and waited on by a very attentive waitress. The menu doesn't over extend itself so there are options but not the pages upon pages some places have. Food was served quickly and was very good. Option of adding an egg to a burger while most places have it, it was nice to have it spelled out.
