We got checked in at 10:49PM. The first room 315 we were given had not been clean, the bed had been slept in and there were towels hanging in the shower. We gathered up our things, got back on the elevator, went to the front desk, where they apologized, gave us another room and said they were going to reduce our rate by $12.00. So we got our things, got back on the elevator and went to our second room which I believe was room 238. We walked in, the room was clean, but was a hot 85 degrees and the air blowing was not cold. I called the front desk this time. They said they just had new air conditioners put in and they were finicky, so put it on 70 and auto and wait 15 minutes and call if did not improve. We took cool showers and the room never got cool. So at 11:40 we called the front desk again, and she said she would call me back. We waited but no call, finally a knock at the door and a maintenance man. He was very nice, checked the thermostat and said I will go get you a key to another room. Which he did on the first floor room 115. So we gathered our things, got back on the elevator and the maintenance man took us to our room. Finally a room that was clean and had air. Was not a very good experience, but they did come through with the discounted rate.

Hotel Maintenance: TOTALLY disserviced us. Upon entering there were trash cans in the middle of the floor and the room was NOT ready. Housekeeping: We had to ask for table cloths more than once, a trash can more than once, and always had to look for someone to assist ad help. We were ever checked on and never given anything without asking. Billing : I want a refund this was HORRIBLE Staff Performance : I spoke with Denis today and he was even more rude under the circumstances. He said WE made it work! We had people there from 2 weeks to 90 and they had to be subjected to the smell, odor, and appearance, of mold, mildew, and rain. I understand there was a storm but we were never notified or given any other options. Then to be disrespected the way I was today? Is that how customers are treated? Or is it only for independent operations? Either way I need to know so I'll know what caption to put under the pictures we took if this isn't handled correctly.

The front desk was all in my business about what I was doing there and who was checking in with me. They were rude and pushy. The rooms itself was mediocre at best. Its definitely low budget. Too pricey for what you get

NOTHING!!! It is a bonafide DUMP!!! I stayed July 4th weekend and they would not refund my money. People were falling out drunk, smoking dope, and hanging out in the parking lot. The bathroom was horrible and mold was everywhere. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Excellent no smoking clean morning breakfast, friendly, quiet at night. You could move the 'smoking area', to the right side of the building so smoke wouldn't blow in people's face, but that's another issue. I enjoyed the peace. Thank you.

Our frustration began the moment we arrived. I had purchased a Groupon for a Jacuzzi room with a Romance package, which had expired. When I called to make a reservation for an anniversary get away, I asked about the expired Groupon, and was told that it didn’t matter, that they would still honor it. When I asked about the romance package, I was again told by the reservation clerk that it wasn’t a problem and that she was making a note about the romance package on the reservation. When we checked in, Dennis tried to charge us extra because the Groupon was expired. When I explained what we had been told, he grudgingly agreed to not charge the extra amount, but rudely stated that we should expected the extra charge because the Groupon was expired. When we got to the room, there was no Romance extras, so I called the front desk to ask about it. Dennis rudely told me that we couldn’t get any of the extras because the Groupon was expired (yeah, we’ve covered that!). When I explained what I was told when I made the reservation, he said that the woman who took the reservation was new and shouldn’t have promised me that. So then why didn’t anyone call me back to let me know, or at least tell me when we checked in? Later that evening, I turned on the water to fill the Jacuzzi tub. Almost immediately the spigot shot off into the air, creating a huge water fountain that drenched me and several of my belongings. When my husband called the front desk to tell them what happened, the response was, “Do you want a mop?” Uh, no, we want a new room! Their computer was not working, so it took almost an hour for them to figure out which room was open and bring us the key. After getting situated, we filled the new Jacuzzi tub and climbed in, only to find out that the stopper didn’t work and all of the water drained out while we sat there. Lovely. When we again called the front desk to explain that yet another Jacuzzi tub was broken, they asked if we wanted someone to come look at it. No, it was 10:30 pm and we were not dressed. The next morning when we checked out, we were asked how our stay was. I said terrible and explained why. We were never offered anything for our troubles other than “Sorry that happened.” Given that I paid a reduced price for a Jacuzzi room through Groupon, I was certainly willing to overlook the stained and chipped bathroom counter and average room. I was also very grateful that the hotel was willing to honor the expired Groupon. However, the attitude of Dennis who checked us in, as well as the fact that two different Jacuzzi tubs were broken, definitely ruined our anniversary celebration and did not make the money I paid worthwhile. I would not recommend this hotel or hotel chain to anyone, and plan to post my experiences on several facets of social media.
