The WWII History Center Foundation Annual Meeting will be held on 29 March 2014 from 1 pm - 3 pm.

Dear member and friends of the World War II History Center,

You are hereby cordially invited to attend the World War II History Center Foundation’s Annual Meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 29th, 1:00 pm at the World War II History Center located at 119 W. Central in downtown El Dorado, Kansas. 

Our Annual Meeting is held for the purpose of informing the membership about the past year’s events, visitor numbers, financial information, Reenacting Corps report, and for electing or re-electing 3 of the 9 board positions. The board positions that are up for re-election this year are as follows:

--Cathy Debbrecht (seat 4) - Board Treasurer and founding board member.
--Erik Runge (seat 5) - Board member since 2010. Vice President of the Foundation, Vice Chairman of the Board and Commander of the WWII Reenacting Corps.
--Van Willis (seat 6) - Board member since February, 2010.

If you would like to have your name considered for election to one of the board positions, you will have a chance to present your case to the membership during the meeting. Voting will be conducted by secret ballot with the results being posted within one week of the Annual Meeting.

Voting for board positions or the Bylaw change may be done by proxy if you can not attend the meeting. If you can not attend the Annual Meeting, you may send in your vote by letter, or e-mail to the World War II History Center. Contact information is provided at the end of this notification. You must be a member in good standing (membership dues must be current) to vote.

Refreshments will be served at the meeting, so take this opportunity to visit with fellow members, meet your Board of Directors, and peruse the museum. If you have any questions, please contact us using the information provided below.
