So many reasons why this is a bad holiday inn... I am shocked

Very nice hotel. However, no complimentary breakfast. We ate breakfast at the hotels restaurant. Asked for coffee and was brought tea. My husband asked for water and was brought water and juice. They did not have wheat bread. Husband's order was supposed to come with 3 eggs and when he asked the waitress she said it was 2 eggs only, when we finished eating we showed her the menu where it was 3 eggs. She asked if we wanted the egg to go. Had to wait due to no change. Not impressed with the restaurant at all.

Headed up from San Antonio and stayed for the Cowboys vs. Atlanta game and I must say it was the nicest Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. It was nice and clean and the sports bar rocked. The staff saved us with parking advise and other tips that enabled us to get in and out of the stadium quickly. The beds were great and the amenities were all awesome. It will definitely be my place to stay when visiting the new stadium a few times a year.

We were there for the infamous OU vs UT Red River Shoot Out football game. This coincides with the Texas State Fair, one of the biggest events in the area. This was our first time to take in the festivities, and I must say the HI staff was totally clueless to any questions we raised about the event from where we could go to hang out before the game to a good Sports Bar to watch the game. It was ridiculous and the construction was a nightmare! The construction mess was not divulged when I made the reservations nor was the fact that they were way out of town and traffic would be a nightmare getting back to Dallas for any of the football functions. Also, I requested extra pillows in person at the desk, then I called for them to bring pillows to the room, then my husband who happened to be out had to stop by the desk & ask for me again & he was finally given the pillows to bring to me. The room, however, was nice & clean. All this said, we will most likely not go back to this location and, in fact, we shortened our stay due to the lack of service from the service desk.

The sports bar was the worst experience I've had. I complained to the sports bar manager abought the lack of service and the hotel manager also. They didn't care! Don't stay here!

The first room we checked in to was next to the washroom, so there was an annoying humming sound coming from the other side of the wall. Asked if we could be switched to a different room. Not only did she get another for us, but upgraded it for the "inconvenience" of having to move to a different room. I was more than satisfied with customer service, the cleanliness, the modern feel . I'm looking forward to staying there again. :)
