Reusing cardboard has been taken to another level.
Ok, even if it lasts only few weeks, the cardboard bike is still pretty cool ;)

Never stop learning.

There's also an interesting radio interview with Anant Agarwal, the president of edX.

This March, a PhD student brought an MIT course to high school students in Mongolia, using edX. Would you believe us if we said one of them got 100% on the final?  Read all about the connection on the edX blog: http://bit.ly/MJgCEc

An interesting look at at Google discusses changes to their search algorithm.
Do you wonder what happens behind the scenes of Google search? There are many factors that are considered when we make changes to the search system.

This video footage comes from the engineers' internal weekly search meeting: "Quality Launch Review." We hold the meeting almost every Thursday to discuss possible algorithmic improvements and make decisions about what to launch. This video is from the meeting that happened on December 1st, 2011, and includes the entire uncut discussion of a real algorithmic improvement to our spell correction system. The language can be technical, so we've included annotations to provide some context for the discussion (and have a little fun!).

I think John Muir would be astounded (and proud) to have another way for people to explore and enjoy.
Take a (virtual) trip through some of California’s most breathtaking national parks. We’ve added Yosemite, Redwood, Sequoia & Kings Canyon, Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks to Street View. Make John Muir proud and check it out at http://goo.gl/jHYU0.

I enjoy TED Talks quite a bit.
Many follow a similar format (watch the video), but they all vary with the personality and passions of each presenter.

Here's the accompanying abstract of the article by Nathan Heller in the July 9th issue of The New Yorker.

I'd don't give many presentations but there are some great tips in this video.

5 Things Every Presenter Needs To Know About People

If you every have to present to an audience then this is a really great five minute talk to watch.

For some of you it might end up being a handy reminder, for most of us I suspect this has a cluster of valuable clues that will help make all our future presentations significantly better.

Lots of very good learning (and fun) points in this video. Well worth watching and sharing it.
The Art of Organizational Manipulation

Watch this. Watch it again. Reshare it. Send it to your team at work. Spread it far and wide.

Then, most importantly, apply it to your working experience. Then send it to your CEO. :)
