Max Jaffe is starting Liquid with Ben Morrow; their mission is to simplify money. Liquid is helping people make wiser choices with their money through education, technology and community. This fall Liquid is scheduled to launch mobile apps for Android, iPhone, and iPad.
Max is a CPA and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting; he began his career in 1981 at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and in that same year developed a personal budgeting system he has personally used ever since, and due to that system, has never paid a dime of credit card interest. Later, Max was Treasurer for 15 years for MEPC American Properties, one of the world's largest developers of commercial real estate. When MEPC was sold, Max developed a professional speaking business and speaks on personal finances. He has conducted hundreds of workshops for a long list of Fortune 500 companies which include American Express, IBM, Vought Aircraft, Becton Dickinson, Eli Lilly, Hilton Hotels, Accenture, TXU, and the Federal Reserve Bank.
In 2008 Max was awarded a patent from the US Patent Office on his budgeting system, for which the Liquid app is based upon.
Max has volunteered for Junior Achievement, The American Cancer Society and was a swim coach for Special Olympics.
