This is dope: http://www.kimonolabs.com/. I want something just like that, but running entirely client-side as a browser plugin. Then I want a bunch of lightweight, pipeable app components that can consume whatever APIs I create and mash the data into useful things on the fly. Then I want to be able to publish that recipe on GitHub for others to use/fork/share. The internet is dead. Long live the internet.

This is a tremendously astute mapping of the memes of some of the great cities of our era.
May 2008. Great cities attract ambitious people. You can sense it when you walk around one. In a hundred subtle ways, the city sends you a message: you could do more; you should try harder. The surprising thing is how different these messages can be. New York tells you, above all: you should ...

Say No to Internet Censorship!
Show suport here: https://openmedia.org/censorship

"WikiLeaks has released documents detailing the Trans Pacific Partnership’s Internet censorship plan.... And it’s worse than we feared." http://goo.gl/ljI1Mw

"These new documents confirm that the TPP will make the Internet more expensive, censored, and policed. Experts say, “kids could be sent to jail for downloading” and whole families could be kicked off the Internet." http://goo.gl/k7Mea

It’s crunch time for the negotiators, as they try to ram through this extreme plan during their meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Send decision-makers these three demands by filling out the form on this page before it's too late.→ http://goo.gl/k5xR1v

Delicious food. Mate in a pipa. Makes me nostalgic for Argentina :) I highly recommend the empanada de carne, it was rich and delicious with finely chopped (not ground) high quality beef, and super fresh. Also tried the arugula salad, which was very nice although one might ask for less blue cheese, it was a bit overwhelming. I'll definitely be back to try the steaks! Also a lovely relaxing atmosphere and great wifi.

This place is great. It's got a warm and friendly atmosphere and the food is very good. They make a nice cappuccino. I also love that it's quiet and spacious. The service is friendly and prompt in both of my visits so far. I plan to make Gaumenkitzel a regular haunt!

I tried to put my car in storage here before flying from SFO, but I couldn't find it. I had to leave the car in airport parking at $15 a day.... ouch! The only way to access it, I discovered later, is a tiny road off the side of the 101N off ramp. I had come off of 101S. So 2 stars just because they couldn't be bothered to get me to the location. Otherwise, it is probably fine.

When I walked onto the lot I was not expecting to buy a car. I'd shopped around a bit and wanted to test drive and get some numbers to chew on. However, the salesman I worked with, Navin, found me exactly the car I was looking for, made an offer that was beyond excellent, and did it all with a quiet, sensible, no-nonsense attitude. I appreciate that deeply. I am allergic to stupid, pushy sales types, and the whole experience at Courtesy Chevrolet was quite the opposite. A first-class operation all around as far as I can tell.
