As the Chief Technology Officer of Aternity, a company specializing in Frontline Performance Intelligence, Shochat leads the strategic product direction, relationships with key customers and partners, and intellectual property creation and protection. Prior to founding Aternity, Shochat co-founded Delavenne Enterprises, an analytics-based hedge fund and served as Director of Software Engineering for Savantis Systems, a start-up that developed ground breaking technology for database virtualization for Fortune 1000 companies. At Savantis, Shochat led the development of the dbSwitch Linux appliance and co-authored three of the four major patents filed by the company. Before joining Savantis, Shochat served as the Chief Technology Officer for Shells Interactive where he led the development of advanced client-side 3D graphics technologies as well as server-side, internet-based platforms, working closely with the development teams of industry leaders such as Macromedia and Intel®.
