Our room was clean & beautiful - equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom shower was the best. Our dinner at Michael's was delicious. We also ate at the Bean & Bread. This is a great place to get a snack or quick breakfast anytime especially early in the AM. Our only disappointment & it was a small one, was the casino itself. Some of the areas were on the darker side & the machines were hard to see the screen & buttons to push. We think it could use some modern help & brighter lights. But we give them 4 Stars. Catharine & I enjoyed our stay.

This wasnt worth the money I paid for the room. The only thing good here was haven, the club. I would go there over revel. Otherwise I would stay anywhere but here. The parking was also very confusing.

We came to Atlantic City for a concert over the weekend that was playing at the Golden Nugget. We had no problem checking in. The hotel room was clean and we had a room on the 27th floor which had nice views of the marina. I think the supplied soap and shampoo for a higher end hotel was a bit generic. The walls were a bit thin and I could hear my neighbors. Thankfully, it wasn't a gaggle of wedding bachelorette/bachelor party because it would have been an unpleasant stay. That said we could still hear an overly loud Brittneys coming in from their night out at 3am. While this side was away from the ocean and boardwalk was a nice reprieve. I only wish the group of hotels on this end were more connected without having to take the jitney. At night security checks for room keys before entering the elevator vestibule. The elevators are a bit crazy as at one point with 8 elevators only one apparently was in use created a huge line. The pool terrace was very nice with the open fire pit and great views. We wish we had brought our swim attire. We wondered why not more people were up here but then everyone was downstairs spending their fortunes. The bartender was really nice. She made strong drinks with prices as expected. Check out was equally quick and simple.

I absolutely love the Golden Nugget! Self parking is easy and the walk isn't far to the main area. Check in is quick. The rooms are gorgeous! They are sort of small, but the iPod dock, decor, and dual shower heads make up for it. I have visited Lillian's and Chart House and enjoyed my meal at both places. The room walls are thin so I make sure to always request a room that is not adjoining and quiet. The shops are pretty cool and they have some nice looking lounges. The spa is nice too. I love the Wine & WiFi area, very contemporary. Not into gambling, so I can't comment on that. Haven't been to the pool area (I usually go during winter months) but they say that they are heated and open year-round. All in all, a great experience always. Hands down my favorite Atlantic City resort out of the ones at which I've stayed so far.

We had a wonderful three-day stay. Our room was spacious, elegant, and had a breathtaking view. Our suite was so clean that it might have been brand new. Many outlets were available for our numerous toys and medical necessities, a real convenience. Our room attendant was cheerful, responsive, and efficient. The casino was a hit, letting us play a long time on our stakes. Without exception staff was pleasant, gracious, and helpful. During a brief storm-caused power outage, courtesy and compensation were the bywords. We are no gourmets (Yay, tater tots!), but we ate well and often. I don't know where the princes and princesses stay who are so determined to find fault, but my husband and I, who have stayed in Rome, London, and on many cruise ships, were only unhappy about Golden Nugget when we had to leave. Thank you, Joe T.!

My wife and I had stayed here for a week, and it was also our first time in Atlantic City. The location for us was perfect, Golden Nugget had restaurants had great service, all through out. The hotel had everything that we wanted as it was close to things, but it was also secluded to where we didn't want a lot of traffic in the background. The hotel staff was excellent through out our stay. The Vic & Anthony's restaurant is a must try. Fantastic. The hotel rooms were very clean, and a bed so comfortable you had to get out of. The pool was great, the cabanas were like heaven. My wife and I will definitely be back.
