Not very impressed. We didn't have reservations and got a series of eye rolls from the hostesses, didn't realize it would be busy on a Thursday evening. You have to order via ipad, which is alright but I feel like I'm ordering a hoagie from Wawa, but on a much higher cost scale. It's also very loud in there, so hard to have a conversation. If you go, make reservations and sit outside.

My wife and I went to Caramel with a another couple on a Sunday night (12/29/2013). You can either order your food normally through the waitress, or using an iPad they leave at each table. It's a nice feature, as the tablet shows pictures of the food and a little more description. Food and wine were good, and the waitress gave pretty good recommendations for wine, and brought us a couple tastings before we ordered a bottle. Flatbreads and meatball were good as starters, along with the tomato and basil soup (which tasted more like marinara sauce than soup). Steak and chicken dishes were good as main dishes. We finished with the chocolate lava cake, which was excellent. The entire time we were there, we counted only one other table. Maybe it gets busier at other times, but the place was empty. Service was fast and accurate, and food was good and reasonably priced. Would go back.
