It's National Safety Month. This week's special topic is emergency preparedness. The National Safety Council recommends practicing emergency drills and checking your emergency kit. Good advice if you ask us.

Word of the day: "Chemical Immersion." (Technically it's two words, but just play along.) "How does it work," you ask? Well, you came to the right place.

First, we unload your parts with that oh-so unwanted coating on them into a stainless steel basket. Then we hoist that basket into our chemical tanks, which are about six feet deep and six feet wide. Our low-temperature, water-based chemicals slowly peel away the paint.

After that, we use a pressure washer to remove the excess, pack the clean parts up and voila! You have a clean part. It's kind of like a bubble bath for your materials. A clean part is a happy part.

So, we were asked today, "Do you serve the automotive industry?" The answer is a definite "Yes."

In fact, some of our best customers are automotive manufacturers. We excel at cleaning their paint line fixtures that tend to gather lots of paint. Our large ovens are perfect for baking off that unwanted paint.

Couple that with quality and on-time delivery and you got a recipe for a lovely relationship. Mutual benefit and gain.

We recently switched suppliers to +Zoro Tools, Inc. Definitely a good decision. Plus, they gave us this awesome airplane! (Check out those flames.)

Now that #spring has sprung, we're all a bit happier. But, few people in our shop are happier than our favorite employee Mr. Mattox. What's your springtime happy face?

Our thoughts and prayers go to those who experienced the horrible tragedy at the #BostonMarathon . Let's be mindful of the helpers. They bring light to the darkness.
