We're going to be rocketed into space - come have a "Spacechat" with us Future Astronauts and find out how Virgin Galactic will be taking us there. We expect to have Virgin Galactic team members joining us as well!

In the coming years, sub-orbital trips to space will be taking place for 700+ Virgin Galactic ticket holders. Galactic Unite, a group of Virgin Galactic customers, is reaching out to classrooms via Google Hangouts to inform and inspire students.

Sign up with this form; we hope to be able to have Hangouts with at least 20 classes before the end of 2018.

Content is aimed for students of ages 10-18 years (U.S. grades 5-12). We have a useful in-class activity, "How High Up Is Space", that can be done prior the Spacechat.

The exploration of space requires bright and hardworking people—and those people start out as curious kids. At Virgin Galactic, we place a high priority on engaging and inspiring the next generation of space pioneers. One way we do so is by working with the Challenger Learning Center of Las Cruces, New Mexico, supporting their first annual academic summer camp for 3rd - 8th grade students. In addition to the hands-on support, question and answer sessions, and visits from our hardworking colleagues, a grant from our #GalacticUnite program is supporting full and partial scholarships for students from low-economic households to attend this summer camp. Space should be a diverse and inclusive place—and learning experiences like these summer camps are an important step to making that goal a reality. #stemeducation

After setting a goal of reaching every sixth grade student in Las Cruces Public Schools, Virgin Galactic Future Astronaut Ron Rosano and our team in New Mexico did just that!

So far #galacticunite hosted over 90 webcasts with 170 Classrooms, reaching 4,700 students all over the world out of which 2,000 are from schools that neighbor our future home, Spaceport America in New Mexico

Supporting STEM education is pretty awesome but meeting the amazing young talent of today is way cooler!

A few weeks back we were excited to welcome the Google Science Fair 2015 winner of the Virgin Galactic Pioneer Award, Pranav Sivakumar, to the unveiling of our new Virgin Galactic spaceship, VSS Unity. What a hugely talented young man he is.

Hear about his day here & be sure to enter this year's competition!
