Ah, how grown up and noble is Oreo now! Check out Altered book lover on blogspot, Elizabeth does a lot of 'weathering' and dyeing etc, fascinating. I love the teeny landscape...the skill is in seeing it amongst the scrap,of background paint, very clever.

Scary for a few hours? I should say, and to be honest, it will be a good couple of weeks before you get over it. I am very glad to read that your son will be OK, sending a prescription of patience and rest! I think your crafting friend has really evolved her work in the time you've been sharing her side of the desk, don't you?! Love the journal page..the sentiment of course, and the frame you created, is it resist?

WoW! Am loving the ink storage - the labels alone bring the colour and potential for colours into your room, they look great and I am sure as you say, that some of the colours will be used much more now theyre fully accessible. Likewise the stencils. If they aren't immediately accessible then they don't quite give as good a value for money use rate as they should!!

Well don't ou learn something about people all the time! Fascinating about the oracle cards! I thought it was a deliberate self portrait until I read your post, I love the painterly style you've got going there too. Perhaps that's what you need for the portraits, a bit more of a foundation to get going on? What do I know?!!

Do you know, I would love to be able to just nod off on a whim, cats are really too lucky!  Seems Orea knows that eventually you'll have to give him some attention if he lies across your journal!  I know the agonies of the portraits, we all go through them with even the simplest craft pieces sometimes. What makes me laugh is how had you are on yourself...I see fabulous pics and nothing else! I have to say that the animation may be clever, but it is somehow, not quite right!!

Gosh my bedside table doesn't change from year to year let alone week to week!! OReo looks as if it's his place by right, for certain! Well done you getting back into it so quickly...I'm not ready, my desk is covered in ugly paper work! Enjoy your new journal, I expect as it meets your criteria that it will bring you a lot of arty pleasure.

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 396
I don't know about you, I think the Wednesdays surrounding Christmas and New Year are in a sort of space time continuum, and they actually appear 35 light years faster than we're expecting them to.  Or...I'm caught out again...! I offer a twofer today, beca...
