I go to Royal Exchange semi-often only because it's right by my work. It's all the Financial District crowd. For an after work happy hour, they don't have very great prices, but I guess they can do that since everyone still goes! It's fine for a short happy hour, but I wouldn't plan a long stay there (except for the fact that it's so close to work!)

A Fi-Di happy hour spot...and thats exactly what it is. An old style Irish Pub where the bar tenders still wear aprons. It's a big spot, but its full of tables that get filled really quick, especially towards the end of the week. The place is crawling with D-bags, older ones to be exact. The crowd is definetly older...but hey, they gotta party too. Saving grace is the food...which pretty darn good during happy hours. The pork slider and wings were my fave.

Great place to grab a brew before the game or after work. Not as crowded as it was during the dot com days. See Brian, will hook you up with a killer Old Fashioned. RIP Doc!

Royal Exchange is a great after work bar to hang out and have a few beers. Although they are a sports bar, during big games its hard to find a seat and they don't have the best viewing arrangement. When it's not too crowded, they have a great bar and plenty of beer on tap. I also like the burger and fries here, simple good pub food.

Solid FiDi bar and restaurant! Fills up with the usual crowd you'd expect, but a nice selection of beer and food better then you'd expect. I'd recommend The Works burger. Delish!
