Finally going to a Good Home!
My good buddy Ian stopped by after work today, he said that he had a good home for this Distylium racemosum that I've been torturing in this same pot for 15 years! I decided it was finally time to let it go to a better home :)

Grafting time again!
Chiyoko said that I could be done for the day when I finished this pile of Honbeni scion wood. Took me about another 6 hours :) Grafting Wisteria floribunda 'Honbeni'

Cornus officinalis 'Kintoki' In the Plantmad garden today this Japanese dogwood lives in the shadow of it's more well known European cousin Cornus mas but when it come to fruit display the cultivar 'Kintoki' outshines them all!

Acer sikkimense
Acer sikkimense This Dan Hinkley collection of  Acer sikkimense from Vietnam has wonderful wine red leathery foliage. It does fine in an unheated greenhouse but haven't been brave enough to plant one out in the garden yet!

Clethra fargesii
We picked Clethra fargesii up a few years ago simply because it was a Clethra that we did not have. It's leaf and growth habit is very similar to Clethra barbinervis However it outshines its cousin when it comes to Autumn Colours.
