In this report, Killing the Colorado, the gentleman talks about the coal burning power plant just on the edge of the small hamlet in Page, Arizona. I have seen with my own two brown eyes. I didn't know that it was the source of the gloomy skies. I believe the power plant is on Navajo Nation land. I don't know why it is out there since the Glen Canyon Dam is nearby? One recommendation is to get rid of one of two--Glen Canyon most likely--dams on the Colorado River to alleviate the man made water problems. It is amazing that the government pays farmers for something that isn't needed like cotton. According to this gentleman, the Glen Canyon Dam is leaking.
What Happened, Miss Simone? Several years ago, I went into a record store(that gives away too much) to look for some Jazz. I was working through several genres and a woman walked up and asked, "Do you know Nina Simone?" I said, Nina who? She said, "You ain't ready for Nina." She was right. Even though I wasn't ready for Nina, I bought AfterHours. Wow! All I got to say, if you ain't ready for the truth, don't buy it.
