Brilliant tour de force. Really cuts libertarianism down to size.

Well, you know - they ARE a pretty authoritarian group. Now, SSSSSHH. People are trying to do research. And go wash your hands before you ruin our pretty books with your acid-filled skin.

Whoa!!!

Sometimes I feel like I've got so much going on that it all starts to tumble in on itself. Ack! I'm not the greatest organizer of It All... and often wonder how in the heck to have all the pieces play nice without any of them getting lost, crushed, dismembered or just plain forgotten in the process. This video is now my "mental movie flashcard"; a lovely visual reminder to just pay attention, breathe and go with the flow. It'll all work out.
I'll take Inspiration wherever I can find it!

Yeah, that struck me as being a little unsanitary.

This is beautiful. Made me tear up (won't be that hard this weekend, but still...).

Made me tear up too. What we do to each other… When will we stop? Sikh, African American, Jew, Christian… "We cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass." Barack Obama.

I'm quoted in this Globe piece about Elizabeth Warren's listening tour stop at +Joyce Linehan's house. Very cool.

The kid's first drawing of Captain Kirk. We're so proud of her.

Visited with my then seven-year-old daughter in July of 2011. She was tired and cranky. It was hot out, and we'd been walking around a bit. She had a little bit of a fit when we got inside. Then, we started the tour. Just of the Bus Boycott section. The initial films were great, and our tour guide was sharp as a tack, and gave a great presentation as we walked through the displays. My daughter was completely taken in, and still speaks of the experience. I highly recommend a visit.
