Many people are familiar with the rule stating that a preposition should never be placed at the end of a sentence. It's one of those things that students are told to avoid, but no one really seems to know just why. There is an explanation, but it's not a terribly logical one. In fact, it might make you question why anyone would bother to follow the rule at all.
