Latest release of 27 new apartments in Tignes Le Lac, Le Phoenix new redevelopment of luxury ski apartments. Le Phoenix in Tignes is an existing and dated property that is being entirely renovated internally and externally, very well located in the centre of town and on the piste.

Tignes & Val d’Isere - Espace Killy
The Espace Killy ski domain is most people’s favourite region in the 40 strong Athena team for obvious reasons. It offers a very varied and diverse terrain for all types of skier, it’s high altitude with pistes between 1,800m and 3,400m and therefore the most snow sure of all resorts. Tignes also has a glacier which ensures skiing in the summer too. In fact Tignes is open 11 months out 12 which is by far the longest season and the resort produces excellent rental returns as a result. It is a very dynamic resort for boarders, skiers and general mountain lovers alike, also very family friendly with hundreds of activities.

From an investment point of view, prices are very competitive in Tignes at circa 10-12k€/m2 whereas in Val d’Isere, prices are more around 25k€/m2 for the same ski domain - you are not buying at the top of the market and there is plenty of room for capital appreciation. New apartment projects in Tignes like Le Phoenix are incredibly rare, we have only had 3 in the last 7 years. You never need to use a car, the resort is pedestrian and everything is close by - the lifts start near the bottom of the residence (where all the shops are located too). Most of the properties in Tignes have direct access to the slopes, the ski lifts are all the latest spec and very quick.

Our new project consists of entirely refurbishing an existing building - the works are already underway. The building is situated right the in the centre of the resort facing the lake with fantastic unobstructed views and a Southerly exposition. We have worked with this developer on other projects and the quality is excellent. The project is classed as new build as it is such a heavy renovation, and that means reduced notary fees and stamp duty too.
