fan on radiator would not shut off, they taped a wire, next time I drove the vehicle it overheated as the fan was not running. Took it back and that was my first mistake. They told me the battery was dead and they could not check out the car until it was running. They thought it was the water pump. I told them to jump the car to get it started to check it out. The battery was only 2 years old. After calling 4 times and getting no return call, I got a call saying it was the radiator fan assembly. They quoted $650.00! After looking the part up on line and seeing it was a 150.00 part and was only 6 screw and a plug in to install I called back and was told Oh this is a very expensive part and 2 hours of labor. They are full of crap and we will NEVER go there again. We were going to trade the vehicle in on a new one, but they just lost our business.

Both good and bad experiences...I guess it depends on who exactly works on your vehicle. I've been going there for a long time and I like the people - but I've been surprised a couple of times with what I would consider rookie mistakes (dripping leaks after an oil change or missing tire valve stem caps). However, on the other hand, they were also able to quell the infamous jeep shake I had experienced with my wrangler. So again, my experiences have been mostly positive with a couple of eye brow raising experiences. I still have faith in them.

Horrible place to take your vehicle for service. I have had nothing but the worst experience in taking my car to Donovan Dodge. There customer service sucks! Let that Melissa chick roll her eyes again. After today they will never see me or my family at there place of business again. After experience at Donovan Dodge I will never reccommend a Dodge vehicle to anyone. I have taken my vehicle in for the same issues since I got it in '09 and they look at me like I have a third eye and am making things up. Just ridiculous that it has taken this long and too much money paid before they finally replaced parts.

I have bought two cars from Donovan in the past two years and have had both serviced by Donovan. I have been treated fairly and with respect by every employee encountered; whether sales, service, or parts. If (or when) I buy another car, it will most likely be from Donovan.

Brought Jeep in to Donovan Dodge several times and all times, the results are the same. I have to bring the Jeep BACK for follow-up service because it was not completed correctly the first time. (I will refrain from specific issues to avoid being identified) The first issue surrounded an oil leak. Had to take the Jeep in on three separate occasions for "trouble shooting" which turned out to be a simple fix. Even after the part was ordered and "fixed", it STILL leaked!!! Had to go back AGAIN and they said "Oh, we forgot to tighten something....." ("Forgot to tighten something" Isn't this part of reading and following the steps in the service manual?) Next issue. Engine Service light came on and took into Donovan Dodge for diagnostics. Came up several codes that seemed to be inter-related with one another. One thing goes wrong, and it sets off two or three others related to main cause. After 4 visits, they FINALLY narrowed it down to a few parts that cost nearly $500. Two days later, my Service Engine light came back on and it was reference the same codes to begin with!! And what is even more disappointing, the service manual CLEARLY DICTATES process of elimination of what to inspect first, second, third, etc etc from the simple of fixes, to the more complex issues (and most expensive.) Upon my last visit for the same issue originally thought to have been fixed, they say "Oh, you need to change (insert part here)" that SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST THING TO CHECK according to the service manual!!! So, my problem is, had they checked this FIRST and replaced THAT ITEM that cost less than $50, quite possibly I would NOT have spent $500 on other parts and associated labor that might have been unnecessary if the easy fix was the original culprit. The bottom line is Jose, the Mechanic, doesn't seem to follow the recommended diagnostics. He shoots for the most expensive issues first, regardless of the service manual "Process of Elimination". Steve, the Service Manager, seems to be understanding at times, but out of touch with reality of what is really going on under his direct supervision. Really, if you have the same vehicle coming in 3 or 4 times for the SAME ISSUE, perhaps it is the lack of quality and service your mechanics are providing. This is a direct (and poor) reflection on the service manager as well as Donovan Dodge. Sounds like a great tactic for job security though. Unfortunately, people like myself now do research to see what others are saying and it looks like we all stand with the same voice that DONOVAN DODGE SUCKS!!! 1-Star Rating because NO STARS was not an option. Recommendation: DO NOT use Donovan Dodge and let others know about your experiences. Word of mouth will either get them to fix their crappy service, or they can go out of business like Ideal Suzuki/Mitsubishi did. Its time Dealerships in Sierra Vista take customer service seriously.

The one is because there is no way to put a minus. Having the worst experience having a car repaired ever. Unable to communicate with the service manager. He has no understanding of automotive repair apparently. I took a car in because it is leaking coolant. They put a new radiator in and it left leaking the same fluid. There was never a crack in the radiator and of course they do not have my old radiator and refuse to locate it even though I heard someone from the shop tell the manager it might be around. The Service manager says he will not look for it. They don't really know why it is leaking coolant, "best we can tell" was the answer. The vehicle is loosing about 8 ounces of coolant every 10 miles driven and is not losing any when not running. I lost a gallon of fluid before noticing and caught soon enough not to burn up the engine. We are at an impasse and at one point the SM just told me "your car is ready to be picked up" even though this is in no way resolved.
