Antonella's Marathon Update
Hi All,
This is it! Next week is the NYC Marathon.
Two good news:
- I've reached my stretch goal to raise $3500 for Doctors without Borders/MSF. A million thanks to the people who donated (you will hear from me!)
- Today I ran my final long run before the marathon, covering the last 10 miles of the course. With a pace of 9:10min/mile, which is insanely fast for me (I was running with a few other in the Doctors without Borders team. My coach will probably slap me on the wrist...)
These are the last 3 days of fundraising... I have reached my goal, but if you still want to donate to MSF, you'll find the link below.

Thank you again to all the people who have donated or are supporting me in any other ways (and there are many).

If you want to follow me on race day, my bib number is 59372 and my wave starts at 11AM.

Love,
Antonella

Working on a thank you card for my wonderful donors.
We made so much progress towards my fundraising goal in the past days, but I still need more donations to reach my goal.

If you want to support me in my Marathon race and, more importantly, you want to support Doctors without Borders, donate here: http://events.doctorswithoutborders.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=3210

With Love and Gratitude.

Dear friends,
I have 12 days left to raise the remaining $1000 for Doctors without Borders/MSF for my NYC marathon fundraising. Would you help?

I've been blown away by the generosity of the many friends who have already donated and I hope you will help me reach my goal.
The people at MSF have been hit hard by the airstrike against the hospital in Kunduz in late September that killed 22 people, 12 MSF staff and 10 patients, including 3 children. This tragic event makes me feel even more committed to hit my fundraising goal and help this wonderful organization.

I still have one hard week of training before starting the tapering phase. Let me feel you are supporting me!

Love, Antonella

Hi all,
Yes, still training for the marathon. This was the "18-mile tune up" (that's 29 km): 3 times up Harlem Great Hill and 3 times up Cat Hill.

And yes, I'm still supporting Doctors without Borders/Medecins sans Frontieres. This is the final stretch: I need to get to my fundraising goal of $3000 by October 25th. MSF is an amazing organization (I've met some of the NYC people and they are so awesome) that has made an impact on the world biggest crises, from the Ebola epidemic in West Africa to the Syrian refugees crisis.

I could use some support as the training gets harder and more exhausting. And the world could use some goodness. If you have not donated yet (or if you have donated and feel and irrepressible desire to donate again), please take some time to do it now here:
