New Congress, Worse America, Guaranteed! - Written by Frank Li The 114th United States Congress is now in session. Is the new Congress better than the last one? Perhaps! Will America be better off because of the new Congress? No! The new Congress may be better, because Republicans will control not only the House, as they did last term, but also the Senate, which was not the case last time. Admittedly, as an independent, I do have a Republican-leaning voting record. Read... http://ow.ly/2TXtTv

Let's get sober, and see reality.
To Vega Baja with Oscar our National Hero
Click on the following link to watch a video with Norberto González Claudio and his wife Elda:   https://youtu.be/DYRy2f223BA
Our ex political prisoner Norberto Gonzalez Claudio and his wife Elda will be working the Vega Baja Town Square in our To the Town Square with Oscar our National Hero permanent campaign.
Our national hero, Puerto Rican political prisoner Oscar López Rivera has been in jail for the last 34 years for his struggle to decolonize his homeland.  Oscar has the right under international law to use any means necessary to decolonize Puerto Rico.  The United States (US) government violates that same law by maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 117 years.  Therefore, the real criminal is the US government, and not Oscar!
We will begin on Friday, January 29, 2016 at all of the 78 town squares in Puerto Rico and the diaspora.  Norberto and Elda have requested the townspeople to be at the town square at 7PM.  Bring your t-shirts, flags, banners, flyers, songs, poems and dances about Oscar López Rivera.
We want every 29th of the month to have more people at each of the town squares.  When Oscar is released from prison, we want everybody to go to their town squares to give him a tremendous welcome back home!
We need people to be in charge of the rest of the town squares in Puerto Rico and the diaspora.  If you would like to be that person, please call Edwin Chungo Molina at 561-758-7509.  Please spread the word to make this campaign a huge success!
This campaign must be permanent, because those who keep political prisoner for 34 years in violation to international law, don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL! www.TodosUnidosDescolonizarPR.blogspot.com

Can We Question Holocaust Memoirs? - by Anna Hájková, The Conversation As we approach the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz on January 27, the victims of the Holocaust stand, with a good reason, at the centre of our attention. It is survivors' memoirs that shaped our understanding of this genocide. Yet this focus on the survivor sometimes goes hand in hand with an ahistorical, idealised reception of their memoirs.
