I've launched a Kickstarter project for my film-based street photography today. I hope you'll have a look at the project, enjoy the photos and consider sharing with other friends who might be interested.
The concept is simple. It's all about sharing. Rather than just posting photos in digital format and sitting back waiting for praise (or little heart icons), I thought to create a real-life object; a photograph captured on film, and share that the same way. It's just a way to share the joy I derive from photography and travel and bring my intentions back in line with a less selfish compass. I'll shoot one roll of 35mm film a day for one month to complete the project. I will make a book form the photographs, as well as post my favorites on my Instagram account (zer0some) as always (can't say no to a little red heart icon...)
Top backers will get one of the rolls of film, processed and archived, to do with as they please. There's no telling what will be on each roll, or where I'll be when I shoot it, but I hope at least one or two images on the roll will be worth sharing.
Thanks for having a look!
